At Virgin Atlantic we want to make your flight as comfortable as we can. All our Economy seats are pitched at a minimum of 31", but we also have two cost effective ways of helping you stretch out further when you fly with us:
1. EXIT ROW SEATS
Ever boarded a plane and looked with envy at the person who bagged the Exit Row Seat? Well now it could be you!
Stretch out with no seats directly in front of you. (Please note that exit row seats are located near to galleys and/or toilets. These areas can become busy at certain points during the flight).
Exit Row Seats available from £50 on the day of travel*, from the check in desk. All seats are subject to availability. Cost is for one journey, not the return journey.
Important Information - For legal reasons, please note that Exit Row Seats are allocated under Civil Aviation Authority rules are subject to availability and our General conditions of carriage. Minimum age is 16. In the event of a medical emergency you may need to move seat, in which case a full refund will be given.
*£50 / $80 for all flights to or from the Caribbean, US East Coast, Havana, Delhi, Lagos and Nairobi.
£60 / $95 for all flights to or from Johannesburg.
£75 / $120 for all flights to or from Hong Kong, Cape Town and US West Coast.
£125 / $200 for all flights to or from Sydney (from Hong Kong to Sydney, cost is £50 / $80).
2. EXTRA LEGROOM SEATS TO/FROM GATWICK AND MANCHESTER

Increase your legroom by up to 3 inches! A 34 inch seat pitch compared to the standard 31 inches.
Extra legroom seats are available from £30 on the day of travel at the check in desk. All seats are subject to availability.
