Local currency

Cuba has two currencies, the Cuban Convertible Peso (CUC) and the Cuban Peso (CUP). The CUC is the most commonly used currency by tourists in Havana.

Electricity

In Havana, the power supply is mainly 110 volts, although most of the modern hotels have dual voltage with socket being 220 volts. Plug sockets will take both the North American flat pin and the European two pin plug.
