How does it work?

It's easy to use. Just log in to your account (if you haven't already), and then head to 'Buy miles' a little bit down the page. Then you'll have the option to choose how many miles you buy. Fill in your payment details, click 'Pay now' and you're done. The miles will be in your account the same day*, so you can book that upgrade in no time.

How much does it cost?

Every purchase comes with a one-off £15 transaction fee, and then it costs £15 for every 1,000 miles. So if you buy 1,000 miles you'll pay £30, and if you buy 5,000 miles you'll pay £90.

Anything else I need to know?

Miles are available to buy in increments of 1,000 miles, and you can purchase up to 100,000 miles in the calendar year. If you’re buying towards a reward flight, remember to check flight availability first.

*Miles should be credited to your account within 24 hours, though this may be longer in some cases.

All Buy Miles transactions are subject to a £15/$25 transaction fee.

A member can purchase a total of 100,000 miles each calendar year, in increments of 1,000 miles, for their own account and/or for the accounts of another member/other members. There is no limit to the number of members you can purchase for, so long as the total number of miles purchased per person does not exceed 100,000 in each calendar year.

Members will have the right to cancel any purchase of miles for up to 14 days after the date of purchase, provided that none of the purchased miles have been redeemed. If any of the purchased miles have been redeemed then members will not be entitled to a refund for any of the purchased miles including those that have not been redeemed. Once the 14 day cooling off period has expired, any miles purchased and received by members are non-refundable and non-transferable, except as expressly permitted by the terms and conditions of Flying Club.
