We found the staff exceptionally kind and attentive. But there were frequent gaps between the initial request for specific items and the ultimate delivery. After a while, the most gracious apology cannot substitute for actual delivery!

This is a great hotel to go and explore the best that Cape Town has to offer. Based on the waterfront you are minutes away from superb restaurants. It also has an awesome view of Table mountain. Service is also 10/10 and rooms are of a very high standard. Truly a great hotel.

There is a reason One & Only properties is so spectacular. The staff is 1, the lodging is 2 and the locations are unbeatable. We stayed at the One and Only for a week earlier this month to enjoy as much of Cape Town as we could and without a doubt we picked the perfect hotel. The location is perfect, you literally turn right out of the hotel entrance and you are on the waterfront, no drama, 100% safe, no issues whatsoever. The hotel itself is beautiful, we stayed in a marine view room, which is only their entry level room but it was huge, immaculate and had a great view and balcony overlooking the marina. We had a little gift left for us each day by housekeeping which was a lovely touch. The view from the main bar is amazing, it is literally as if someone has painted Table Mountain onto the windows. Our first day we were greeted with a stunning view of the clouds pouring over the top of the mountain like a waterfall - amazing. A slightly hidden gem of the hotel is the restaurant by the pool which we used a few times for slightly more casual dining but the food was simply stunning. If you want a luxury hotel to use as a base to explore CT then look no further. Read less

Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and remembered our names. The room was clean and they left us little presents at night! The location was walking distance to most of what we did in Cape Town and the staff were knowledgeable and shared great information about the area.
