The hotel

The President Hotel offers guests a friendly atmosphere and relaxed ambiance. Situated in a spectacular setting, the classic design of the hotel mirrors perfectly the laid back lifestyle of Cape Town where lazy afternoons can be spent reclining by the palm-fringed pool, looking out over the Atlantic Ocean. The President Hotel has an enviable location set in the exclusive and wind-free Bantry Bay, just 7 km outside Cape Town’s CBD, it offers fresh sea air and panoramic mountain and ocean views that’ll see you unwinding in no time. With an enticing selection of restaurants, bars and lounges, the hotel is situated in a great location for those who want to venture out, Bantry Bay is great for local eateries but the President is also excellently located in the city half way between the famous V&A Waterfront and the first class beaches and eateries of Clifton and Camps Bay.

For our first evening we dined at the hotel restaurant, the menu choices were good, the food excellent and fairly priced. After a great undisturbed night's sleep, we had an amazing breakfast, the choices and constant re-stocking by the kitchen staff is as good as it gets. We spent some quality time by the pool, which is well positioned and presented. Overall the hotel is spotlessly clean and you are looked after by friendly attentive staff. The President is a truly first class hotel in fantastic location. Read less
