The room is well furnished but the bathroom layout in the standard room is very awkward and small. The room is well furnished but the bathroom layout in the standard room is very awkward and small. No counter space at the bathroom sink, no room to open the shower door and the toilet roll holder is very far behind you. The condition of the towels was old with threads hanging on all ends. I complained several times and kept receiving these old ragged towels and only 1 bath towel per day. I had to ask several times for a shower cap and additional towel everyday before it actually arrived. There is no quality control of the housekeeping service. My coffee station was not refilled daily and you only receive two small bottles of water daily complimentary. This also was a disaster as I didn’t get water on one day and had to ask several times and wait several hours before it arrived. It is frustrating to get back to hotel after a long day of meetings and have to fight for basic amenities. The bed is comfortable. The best thing about this hotel is the good buffet breakfast and ala carte restaurant. Food is good quality and tasty. Breakfast service is slow and no staff to assist at the deli/cheese counter and you can’t access it yourself. I will not voluntarily stay at this hotel but my company seems to book here. I will ask for another option. Read less

I was very sceptical as I prefer hotels I am familiar with. I am in Cape Town atleast 5 nights in a month and had never spent a night at this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised by the room. It was spacious and beautifully furnished. I really like that the fridge was also a good size. On the room alone, I can definitely see myself coming back. The room was very quite. Even though my room was next to the elevator, I could hardly hear any noise or footsteps which was good for me as I suffer chronic insomina. There is also a nice lounge downstairs with comfortable sofas and chairs also offering plenty of charging points. There is room for improvement when it comes to service at both dnner and breakfast. I received great service from Nana at reception. She was very welcoming setting a positive tone for my stay. Artwell at the restaurant was also great was always willing to go an extra mile in making the patrosn comfortable. Read less

The hotel and staff were exceptional, every bit of our stay was an absolute delight and the staff couldn't do more for you. Nelly at the conceirge desk went out of our way to get us an amazing deal on an outing that turned out to be the best part of our holiday. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely be back!
