Located on the outskirts of the Franschhoek Village. Transfer time from Cape Town airport: 1 hour.

Hotel information

Choice of rooms. All with air-conditioning, satellite TV, WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar* and safe. Standard Rooms, located in the original manor house, offer a small living area, a private balcony and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. 

Luxury Rooms are spacious and most of the rooms offer a private patio or balcony with garden views.

The double storey Garden Cottages have an en-suite bedroom on the ground floor with a private patio/garden area and a separate lounge area upstairs with vineyard views.

Villa Suites are also available.

Monneaux Restaurant (contemporary cuisine; lunch and dinner). 2 swimming pools. Spa* (treatments need to be pre-booked). Complimentary shuttle bus to Franschhoek town centre.

Always eager to help and drive us to our destinations. Extremely friendly and helpful and I would leave them 6 stars if I could! They are the definition of above and beyond customer service. They arranged so much for us and always made sure we were having a great experience. They make every person here feel special and welcomed. The entire resort’s curb appeal was gorgeous and always clean. We stayed in their Villa and it was exceptional. The location is also great! Just a short couple minutes drive to the Franschhoek Wine Trams and downtown Franschhoek. The food was amazing (some of the best food we’ve had) we rarely wanted to eat outside of the resort! person here feel special and welcomed. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in Franschhoek! Thank you for making our honeymoon so special! Read less

One evening we chose to eat in the hotel’s restaurant- the food was amazing ( although there only seemed to be one tune playing over and over again all night!) Great area to sunbathe and two pools , unfortunately the smaller of the two was the only one that was heated. Overall though we would recommend this hotel to everyone - it was a wonderful stay! The hotel is a quaint county Inn. It is located about 2 minutes from town, but nestled at the base of the mountains, giving you a sense of French Countryside. The pool area is lovely and clean. We ordered drinks and snacks at the pool and the cheese board was delicious, and portions plentiful.
