ICONIC HOTEL. EVRY BIT AS GOOD AS PHOTOGRAPHS DEPICT.

Beautiful place. Just as the photographs depict. Excellent breakfast. only negative re food: insufficient vegetarian/vegan options, particularly in the most expensive/luxurious restaurants which was disappointing, so we went elsewhere. Superb quiet room with 2 windows overlooking the iconic lake. Staff and service all excellent.
Spa is a 2 star

First off the staff were at the spa were all really nice. A couple of things impacted my score significantly.
First off, we asked the valet if we could park and be validated, and he said no and that our parking would cost $55. This is actually not the case. It turns out they actually do validate parking.
Second, the pool and other amenities are…

First off, we asked the valet if we could park and be validated, and he said no and that our parking would cost $55. This is actually not the case. It turns out they actually do validate parking.
Second, the pool and other amenities are about a 5 minute walk through the hotel. Walking through a hotel in a robe and slippers is not ideal, comfortable, or 5 star quality.
Finally, thirdly, the conditions of the changeroom and the pool area are very, very, very low for a Fairmont. The changeroom is tiny. There are only two very basic shower stalls - my shower head and handle were broken. Also, you're sharing this space with the other hotel guests who are coming in with little kids - it's chaotic and it's tiny. I would not recommend this spa at all if you're going for an authentic spa experience. If you are simply looking for a massage or facial only, it is a service they provide (do not count on amenities).

We stayed for 2 nights in a 1 bedroom lakeview suite after being upgraded from a 1 bedroom partial lakeview Temple 1 bedroom suite. The suite was newly renovated and is very nice. We had towel art on the bed when we arrived and a personalized note from housekeeping. We travelled for my son’s birthday. From Garry at check-in escorting us to our suite to the suite concierge Alexandra greeting us and checking in to ensure we had what we needed, the service was exceptional.
We had treats for the boys and for the adults delivered to our room which exceeded our expectations. Flowers were delivered to our room on our second day and Alexandra made arrangements for a birthday gift for our son as well birthday cards.
We had our dinners in Alpine Social and Fairview. We had a light bite in the Lakeview Lounge for lunch one day and our breakfasts were included in Louiza which had a bounty of food available. Courtney (I apologize if I spelled it wrong) in Fairview and Antoine in Louiza stand out with their friendly service. All staff we encountered were nothing short of friendly. Valet parking was included as well with the suite which is very convenient. I cannot wait to go back!

Extremely accommodating staff under difficult circumstances.
We travelled to Lake Louise today to see the lake, however due to a complication with the weather and a mobility scooter required for one of our party, who is disabled and unable to walk more than 50m, we were presented with a difficult situation of not being able to take this party member to the lake after our journey. Now in normal weather, it wouldn't be a problem, however Alberta has had quite a lot of snow in a short timeframe, meaning the roads were difficult to navigate in places.
Upon scoping the area from the public access parking area, it was evident that was not an option. However upon speaking to Kira-Lynn at the hotel, she completely understood our predicament and helped as best as she could, letting us drop the party member off at the door. This was a HUGE help and allowed them to enjoy the sights too.
We have stayed at Fairmont hotels before and have one planned for another location soon, however after today I will be making them a top choice, if all their hotel staff are as helpful and understanding as Kira-Lynn.
Thank you for today, you made us feel very welcomed and happy to have not wasted our journey.

My family stayed two nights at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, and it was a fantastic stay. Our Gold room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The interactions before our arrival, and special touches they left for us and our son were so sweet and appreciated. Our server Junie in the lounge was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed, and the omelet chef provided us with great conversation and recommendations. The location will always be beautiful, even with some of the current construction that is underway (thankfully hardly obtrusively), but it was truly the staff at this hotel that made this stay particularly fantastic.
