We had a wonderful time at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain. The staff was very good but a few employees were excellent. Armand the bellhop made sure all our luggage was brought to our rooms. We had a wonderful time at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain. The staff was very good but a few employees were excellent. Armand the bellhop made sure all our luggage was brought to our rooms. Leuri at the front desk made sure all our accommodations met our expectations including no BS. In conversation we found out that we vacation close to his family in La Romana. Nathaniel at the front desk printed our boarding passes when we checked out and was willing to come to Toronto to bring us a forgotten parcel. Now that is above and beyond. Olivier at the concierge desk provided us instructions on a daily basis to travel on the Metro, the RESO (Montreal Underground) or just to walk around downtown and old Montreal. And who could forget Redwan who provided transportation to the airport for us upon departure. We will definitely be back in the future. Nathaniel- JUST AWSOME-- Always smiling and super courteous. Went way out of his way to help. Could not give me exact change for $50 and $10 bill for bus ticket which costs $11. He added a $1 from HIS POCKET. NEVER HAD SUCH HOSPITALITY from a receptionist before. He gave me a very nice going away gift. He touched my heart. Peter and Aaron were super humble and friendly. Mark in the restaurant gave me good service. Every one including Michelle was very nice. Breakfast buffet was as good as it gets. No negative. One of the best hotels of my life. Great memories. This Marriott Chateau Champlain is a remarkable landmark hotel for design, architecture and elegance. This hotel is a top managed Marriott that the whole Operations team should be proud of. One of the best I have stayed at and will continually return to. The hotel is in a convenient location downtown Montreal (right next to many great places). The hotel has been completely renovated with rooms that are super modern, creatively decorated, cozy, and have great views. The bathroom was super modern with the warm toilet seats, bidet, robotic shower, etc.... I was very high up and the view was spectacular. I didn't have change to try the lobby restaurant. Note, for Bonvoy elite members, the M-Club Lounge is really nice with great food and service. The hosts was great. But, the best part of all was Bianca, Edouardo and Vivian at the front desk. They welcomed us immediately with a sincere warm welcome making us feel at home and they demonstrated amazing attention to detail helping us getting the best room available - truly thankful. Vivian continued was always helpful during the stay. The three of them exemplified true professionalism in attitude and job execution. Wow! Very impressed. What a team! The hotel is in a great location convenient to a lot of the downtown/old Montreal area (especially if you're ok with a little bit of walking). We absolutely loved our stay at the Montreal Marriott Chateau Champlain. The hotel is in a great location convenient to a lot of the downtown/old Montreal area (especially if you're ok with a little bit of walking). Check in was speedy and the staff was very helpful with bringing bags up to the room. The valet team was great and quick on both ends of the trip. You can tell the rooms have been re-done relatively recently. Bed was extremely comfortable. As someone who struggles with hotel pillows, the two here were perfect. Now let's talk about the shower. This hotel had the best water pressure I've ever experienced and multiple different options for ways to have the water come out of the shower head. A+ here. TV in the room was huge and had a nice mix of US and Canadian channels. Didn't use the gym, but went down and looked at it and looked to be brand new. Read less

He welcomed me back (noticing we had stayed there before), which was so nice. Ian the concierge is so patient and kind. Had lovely recommendations. He also helped us last year! Quality employee. Had an early lunch at the bar. Served by a fabulous server - again can’t remember his name. But knew a lot about wine especially those from Provence. Had great service and really good food. We enjoyed our time there and wasn’t rushed. Overall this is my favorite hotel in Montreal. Love the service and employees! Kudos to all involved! Read less
