The hotel

The Anndore House oozes style, soul and sophistication. Dating back to the 1950s, the hotel injected ounces of unique touches to every area within its walls. There’s a barber shop, local artistry, a vinyl record player in every room, and two dining venues. The Constantine Restaurant has a show kitchen, so you can watch the chefs at work cooking up your order, or for a more relaxed setting, head to the Scarlet Door Café. Situated in Toronto’s heart at the Yonge and Charles intersection, it’s the perfect spot to explore this cosmopolitan city from.

The Corner King Studio includes a sitting area with 2 large club chairs. A large writing desk and a separate dressing area.1 King-size bed sleeping maximum 2 adults.


The Master Suite includes a separate living and dining area.1 King-size bed sleeping maximum 2 adults.

The Anndore House exceeded my expectations - staff friendliness and willingness to help, food, vibe, size and quality of room, bar area, coffee shop on-site were all top-notch! Convenient location.. everything is steps away. I’ll be back for sure.

The lovely Irish bartender makes a top-notch espresso martinit - and my friend raves a solid cosmo too! From check in to check out, staff were helpful, friendly and set the tone for the experience. The rooms are well designed and well laid out. Love the details of the light switches - it's the details for me! Plenty of great restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Alternative parking options for our budget friends such as myself too! Would happily stay here again - and again, and again. Hotel entrance is located off Yonge street and can be hard to spot, especially in winter as you enter through the restaurant. Small check in area, surrounded by a coffee shop and a lounge-restaurant. Staff was young and courteous, informal service and welcoming to LGBTQ community. Hotel is located within walking distance to Church-Wellesley area as well as some upscale shopping (Holt Renfrew, Kith). Location is a bit remote if your travels require you to only be downtown-entertainment area. Price was very reasonable using a third party reservation site. Read less

You enter through two doors and down a narrow hall to a check in counter, where very welcoming staff ensure you are checked in. There is a cocktail lounge, restaurant and even a barber shop situated in the cozy main floor. The rooms are private and block out sounds of the city. Our room included a brick accent wall, an updated bathroom with a standup shower, a seating area in front of a tv, and a large window wall with multiple shutters. A personal record player, a Smeg kettle, and free instant coffee and tea are available as well as some paid items. Beside your bed is a switch box to control various lights around the room. The entire vibe is industrial modern, like your own personal apartment in the city. Read less

Everything at Anndore House was lovely. The entire staff was very friendly and responsive to every request. Hotel was well designed and rooms were well laid out and always clean. The breakfast was delicious and promptly provided. The location was great to access the subway and any part of the city.
