One of the best ever hotels to stay in downtown toronto

The rooms are really beautiful with quaint interiors and record players to feel like you are in old Toronto! The rooms are really well sized for a major intersection in downtown. There are ton of restaurants in 2 mins walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is also dog friendly and provides exceptional service when you are travelling with one.
Poor quality rooms

The walls were paper thin and I could hear every door closing. It wasn't that there were loud guests. Every door opening sounded like our door opening. I'm not sure why there isn't soundproofing of the walls? I couldn't believe the lack of quality for a Hyatt hotel. We considered seeing if we could transfer to the Hyatt instead.
Warm, welcoming, clean in a central location, great value

The location is great in terms of being close to subway, right on Yonge, walking distance to Yorkville,yonge/Dundas, everything 20 minute walk really, or easy subway away. The actual location is a bit iffy but it's Yonge St - perfectly safe, just saying you're going to see some sketchy characters at the otherwise very clean McDonalds across the street.

Feels like a cool place to chill instead of a hotel.

Honestly, i really love the little owl stuffie on the bed. The art books are a really nice touch. it feels more like I'm staying at a really cool friend's place instead of a hotel. Add to that the aesthetic of the place and it is 6/5 stars....it's not in the financial district, but including walking i made it to MTTC South in 24 minutes on TTC.
Amazing Stay!

Love the chic hotel and friendly staff! Area was safe and convenient, with the subway station nearby and lots of restaurants. Came here for the Taylor Swift concert and the hotel arranged thoughtful surprises, activities and special F&B items. Will definitely come back if I visit again.
