Very Vancouver, this downtown delight brings the city’s signature cool styling, upscale-yet-casual lifestyle, and modern dining scene to your door. It might be stylish and spacious — and have free WiFi on tap — but you won’t want to spend much time in your guestroom — not when your feature-filled hotel has distractions like a gym, Life Luxe Spa, and al fresco sun deck with heated pool and hot tub. Giving you a true taste of British Columbia, Hyatt Regency Vancouver’s bars and restaurants feature fresh regional produce, sustainable seafood, local microbrews, home-grown wines, and artisanal cocktails, as well as the less-local Starbucks® for that pre- and post-sightseeing caffeine fix. The location’s very Vancouver too — eating out, shopping, and sightseeing are effortless with downtown favourite Robson Street just blocks away, and Stanley Park’s beaches, cycling, and totem poles a leisurely stroll.

Poor Globalist Experience
Jan 17, 2025DenverCO303Denver, Colorado
The main reason for the low review is their really poor globalist experience. This hotel looks to do the bare minimum to just pass the brand requirement. It’s one of the worst I’ve experienced. They are the only Hyatt I’ve ever experienced who expect a surcharge for a suite upgrade. If you have status with another major chain I’d recommend…

We were impressed with the service from the moment we booked the stay. Our extra early check in was accommodated without any questions. The room was clean, spacious and smelled fresh and pleasant. The concierge was great, he helped us with directions and answered many questions we had. I loved the privacy and the quiet of the hotel as we did not see or hear staff members or guests in the hallways. We just loved it and we’ll be coming back.

Love coming back to Hyatt Regency Vancouver

Love coming back to Hyatt Regency in Vancouver.
This is our pit-stop before heading to Whistler.
I love the beautifully appointed rooms, comfy beds, beautiful linen, polite staff.
The shuttle bus outside the door makes things super easy. Get up, pick up Starbucks downstairs, jump on the bus and off you go!

We stayed in other hotels in Vancouver previously, but since discovering Hyatt Regency, this is our go-to - a perfect balance of comfort, style, size, value for money.

Great place to stay in Vancouver
Jan 15, 2025luv2skiwhistler
We always enjoy our stay at the Hyatt Vancouver. It is convenient for our skiing trips (the EpicRides bus picks up and drops off right outside the hotel), is close to the train station from the airport, and is a great location from which to explore the beautiful city of Vancouver!
