Nearby golf courses include Sandy Lane, five minutes’ drive away, Royal Westmoreland and Apes Hill, each 15 minutes’ drive away, and the Barbados Golf Club, 35 minutes’ drive away. Beautiful grounds with lots of plants and grass, but we were bitten by mosquitoes constantly and couldn’t keep them out of our suite, despite spraying the entire place daily with repellent. Location is convenient we used the buses during the day and taxis in the evening as there isn’t much that suited us within walking distance. Cleaning, hotel staff, restaurant and pub all excellent. Too noisy for me but might not bother others, if you’re used to heavy traffic and noise.

Great choice for family stay, big and clean room with super nice staff and owner. However, no private beach and lack of decent on site restaurant compare with other options at similar price level.

This is a beautiful hotel complex with stunning gardens and three pools. We stayed in the ylang ylang villas which were beautiful and very well equipped with everything you need.

The only thing I would say is the location is slightly isolated from the many bars and restaurants the island has to offer so you need to bus it or taxi. Many people hired a car so that's a good option too if you want to explore.
