We’ve now been home nearly two weeks & our review is certainly overdue ! This was our 3rd visit to SBC we arrived early (having emailed a few days before to let them know) The room wasn’t ready and still wasn’t ready at the time to check in. No welcome drink & no drink at the bar as we’d no A/I wrist bands on When the room was eventually ready, the situation of the room was certainly not to our taste, & disappointing as we were returning visitors. However we have to say that when the General Manager Rodcliffe came on duty this was sorted out, and along with the executive chef Rodney, they moved us another room which we were very pleased with , thank you The rooms are very big, with the most comfy huge beds. Plenty of hanging & storage for your clothes; since we were last there, the en-suites have been updated From shower over the bath to walk-in shower, towels changed daily & bed linen changed regularly too We had a lovely two weeks relaxing here - the hotel, although not grand or posh, is situated right on the beach. There is shade if you need it, there are plenty of sunbeds no matter what time of day you want to sunbathe. There’s iced water on tap & beach towels galore right next to the beach Food was a little ‘samey’ but you’ve not had to buy it & cook it so it’s fine. There were a couple of issues with supplies, but they were addressed straight away The staff are lovely .. too many to mention really … but here goes Rodney - executive chef Always chatty & enjoys a bit of banter Beverley - front of house ….lovely lady - so good to be greeted by her Alicia - waitress …lovely lady …had such fun with her Quinnell - waitress ….quiet & efficient ….knew exactly what drinks we wanted Akeila - waitress - so lovely Tiffany - bar ….very efficient Lamar - bar …ditto Ashley - omelette girl … so sweet & knew what I wanted as soon as I walked in Shaneece - very pleasant & efficient To name but a few We found if you were pleasant and had some fun with the staff they reciprocated. It doesn’t take much to enquire how they are, if they’ve enjoyed their day off etc. Thank you Rodcliffe & team … I didnt want to leave would we go back for a 4th visit ? Yes …. Already booked to go January 2026 Read less

This is my first time to stay at Savannah Beach Resort but not my first trip to this beautiful country and I couldn't be happier that my friends and I stayed here, great value for money in comparison to others. Firstly we were met with a great big smile from the receptionist... who offered us rum punch that went down a little to easy if you know what I mean 🥴. What makes a great and unforgettable holiday I hear you ask ... well let me tell you a resort like this.. the staff make this hotel experience unforgettable...smaller then other resorts and they treated us like family. The resort is very clean, rooms are comfortable and was big enough for the 3 of us with air-con and a safe which they talked us though when he brought our bags up. Pillows amazing and sleep quality was good.😴 Staff are exceptionally polite, fun and will go out their way to help... with smiles to liven everyone... so I don't understand some negative reviews. Bar and domestic staff amazing as was Romon & security men who kept us all safe 24/7. Pool was spotless everytime of day... even after the tropical winds/downpours...can't complain about any meal that we had.. choice galore... from BBQ, Chinese, local food, curry's noodles fried chicken etc etc No ice cream... but they did have afternoon tea (cakes and sandwiches). Not a huge selection but extremely tasty, and as dinner is so close it worked well. I noticed chef checking on guests regularly especially those with special requirements. Those reviews that mentioned no English food.... come on your here to embrace their culture otherwise stay home. Chopstix is a must and 2 other places to eat on site but you have to book. Lots of choice, great entertainment especially Monday is a must. Only downside is there are not enough table & chairs on the deck especially for entertainment in the evenings. Could do with extending some entertainment to finish later and having light music after. Was surprised that Zoe a singer was not booked for the evening but for the lunch time entertainment - she was great. When the hotel is full seating is an issue that could easily be resolved and I hope management take this on board. I'll say it again More chairs and tables needed 🙏🏽.... probably where the grass section is.... holiday is only good depending on guests that are there at the same time who bring on their *A game* on holiday with them... and that take part in activities such as limbo, dancing, singing, games etc Karaoke sounded fun... some killed their songs literally but so much fun. Lunch time games with Romon was excellent... watchout his extremely competitive in a good way. He visited every guest in the hotel asking for feedback and even changed some stuff when we were there . excellent management material, and even helped us with an issue we had with towels. I would say beach is very clean, enough shade but you cannot swim in it due to the rocks so bring your beach shoes if you want to go in.... A real shame and will be a deal breaker for most... however the hotel put on transport 3 days a week to a beach where you can swim or you can walk 10/15mins to the right and get clear beaches. The lazy pool is the only pool so some may say not suitable for kids... not much seating / sun beds near ir around pool.... swim up bar... Thankyou to the guests who were here between 13th & 23rd January 2025... you were all amazing and made my holiday an absolute dream... just wish I took your numbers... *shout out to those who were from Manchester, Bournemouth and our favourite Newcastle lads.* from us London girls. Oistins is a must on a Friday.... just be sensible.... horse racing across the road 5 mins walk another must and fun.... small fee to get in but if you don't want to go in the stadium you can still bet and take part around the course with the locals absolutely free of charge. Receptionist were great and helped book taxi's and any queries. I loved that this hotel is smaller and therefore the staff get to know you and is homely. I'll be visiting again. My advice is *definitely* go all inclusive otherwise your bar bill will be out of control even if you don't drink alcohol ...food is expensive if you don't. No hotel is 100% but this is very close for my needs. The hotel doesn't provide you with bottles of water, but there is a shop opposite the road but we were drinking tap water and was just fine. Clothes Shop within resort was nice. Had essentials and nice home made items such as fans. Kids club available. Loved that the resort was casual/ smart casual.... its hot so this helped. We had a pool side room... cannot recommend this enough. Was handy for us girls. I would say this resort was for over 40's.. not really that suitable for those struggling to walk. There are 2 small lift however it's at one end and the beach at the other with stairs and narrow walkways to get to. Something to consider. Highly recommend if you don't mind it being away from the gap. We took the reggae reggae bus... what an experience and not expensive. Sun sets are beautiful.. can't say we were up in time to watch a sunrise from the beach or watch the horses have a bath on the beach....something for our next visit. Traffic is bad from 4pm to 6pm if your heading anywhere on this island... plan well.. work through that drinks menu. There is *no gym* for those looking for one and beauty therapist can be arranged to have your treatment in room.... so it's a shame they don't have a dedicated beauty room as I feel people would use this facility as they would the gym. I cannot rant on about our stay but I hope to meet all you potential holiday makers in the future at the Savannah. Read less

Wow, what a fab time we had at this amazing hotel. First room we were allocated was on the ground floor with pool acces room 162. (We always opt for higher floors so being on ground floor was already not what we were expecting.) On entering the room it was so dark, it was horrible even the patio area was really dark because of large plants , we couldn't even see the pool because of the hedges. We went to reception and explained we were not happy and would prefer a higher floor. The reception staff were amazing and promised us another room the next day at around 4pm. So we didn't bother to unpack. Next day we had a day on the beach, it's lovely and sandy with plenty of sun beds. Yes the sea is rocky but if you go over the grassed area to left looking at sea there is a lovely sandy area to swim. Sea is a bit rough but it's still lovely. It's great to watch the many surfers as well . At 4 we went to reception and omg wow they had up graded us to a sea facing suite. Totally blown away by it, it was amazing to stories high so we had amazing views just what we were hoping for originally. Thank you again to the kind reception staff. Food. Wow, again absolutely lovely, Rachel's and chop stix well worth a visit fab food with very helpful friendly staff. Breakfast plenty of choice to set you up for the day. Buffet lunch at Drifters, buffet food salads, meat, fish etc and also burgers, hot dogs, pizza and chips and all very tasty with happy smiley staff serving. Entertainment varies, not on every night. Mondays is barbecue night at Drifters with fire eaters Entertainment nice to see. Location of hotel is great so close to walk to Bridgetown or down to the start of Richard Haynes boardwalk. The garrison is about 2 mins walk from hotel just across the road and well worth a visit to the George Washington house and tunnels. Pebbles beach where they take the race horses early every morning is about 10-15 mins walk along the road . You can also access it via the sandy path next to the Savannah towards the Hilton but didn't want to walk it in the dark at 5.30 in the morning to see horses. Bus stops are just down the road from the hotel so you can get around very easy via the buses. We didn't chance the reggae buses as they seemed to always be over filled with people sitting on laps on front seats and the drivers going really fast. If you've chosen this hotel you will not be disappointed, we had an amazing 2 week stay with them and loved every minute. Highly recommend it! Read less
