The hotel

Little VIP touches make a stay at the boutique Sea Breeze Beach House feel all the more special. As you sink into a sun lounger, the pool and beach attendants serve cold drinks, mist you with a refreshing spritzer, and offer delicious sorbet tasters. Its 3-acre gardens and 1,000 ft stretch of silky white sands create a sense of space, while Bajan accents like palm trees, beachside dining, and rum-infused treats create a sense of island living. Families and couples can enjoy their own zones, with a space just for grownups featuring a pool, Jacuzzis and oversized loungers — a brilliant break from the buzz around the family and lap pools. Even the beach caters for all, with a lively water sports stretch and a more peaceful patch. The luxury suites are wonderfully spacious, have beautiful ocean views and extra amenities, and with two, three and four bedroom options available, you can have an All-Inclusive experience with a 'villa' feel. Whether à la carte or one of the themed buffet evenings you'll love the food, and we recommend that you don't miss the opportunity to get the sand between your toes at the 'Shoes Optional' Beach BBQ held on Sundays.

We visited SeaBreeze for the second time the end of January/beginning of February, and didn't think it could be much better than the first time, but it exceeded all of our expectations and beyond. While the location on the hotel is pure paradise just minutes from the beach, it's the people that made us return and will bring us back next year. The hotel is quirky, if you like corporate chain hotels, then this is not the place for you. But if you are looking for a true Caribbean experience and want the personal touches then you will fall in love with the magic this hotel has to offer, and the beautiful people, will make your holiday truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived in reception to those warm welcome back hugs from Javon, our experience was truly amazing. The staff are what makes this hotel so special and while all the staff are amazing, we have a few that deserve special mentions for going above and beyond during our stay. From meeting Erica at the managers cocktail party, and showing us the Mahogany rooms, to the breakfast team with Grace and Noreen, Arden looked after us at Cerulean when we couldn't get a table on our last evening and even managed to get Mum her Pinot! Alison, sorted a few DIY jobs dad picked up on, he is still requesting to become the local handyman! Of course Sharon provided such a warm welcome home and made our stay so extra special. Damian and Rohan were always in good spirits and looked after us at the Adult Pool area. The lovely Marcia always looked after Mum and Cuthbert was always on hand to provide his knowledge to dad. The ladies at dinner in the Cerulean were always so welcoming and looked after us. While we did not see much of Chrisohn it was lovely to catch up with her! We can't not mention Joel and Kiarah, from the day we arrived there were super helpful and always came by to say hello during our stay, we were surprised to hear Joel was the quiet team member, as he was always so bubbly and chatty with Mum. The whole reception team was so lovely and welcoming, everybody looked after us during our visit. While all the staff were amazing and looked after us there has to be a special mention for Javon, everyday we were greeted with his smile, he was always so helpful and attentive looking after us, even when he was busy and wasn't rota'd to look after the area we were seated in, he is an absolute credit to the hotel and holds a special place in our hearts. We will never forget how special the whole team made Rosie's birthday while we were on the island, all the staff seemed to know it was her special day! From Grace giving us a birthday plate at breakfast with lots of singing, to decorating our room, to the rum shot at bingo (Thanks Joel), Rohan's warm birthday hugs, the ladies in Cerulean at dinner with the birthday cake and the final surprise from the housekeeping Manager, we arrived after dinner to a lovely swan decoration on the bed. The day was so special and one we will never forget. If you ever need a taxi, island tour or want to visit anywhere outside the hotel Tyrone is the guy to request, he is the best! We had requested Tyrone to pick us up from the airport, he looked after us our entire visit, he was always on hand to take us wherever we wanted to go on the island and was super helpful, dad enjoyed his daily Liverpool chats! We would just like to say a massive thank you to our SeaBreeze Family, and we are already planning our return, as we can't wait to come back! Read less

It has an excellent location on the beachfront and not far Oistins where we went on Friday evening using the complimentary hotel bus to enjoy the local fish cuisine and the amazing atmosphere with local artist singing and dancing. The staff were probably the most friendliest set that we have come across so far in particular MARCIE ( always cheerful and a smile on her face ) and Sharon ( supervisor / manager ). We were at ease more or less soon as we arrived at this hotel. Great hotel + friendly staff & excellent service = Thoroughly enjoyable & memorable stay. Our thanks to Anthony Johnson for leading a great team. Read less

This was our first trip to Barbados and we LOVED IT!! Sea Breeze was a total blast from start to finish. The location is fabulous, like the names says it's next to the sea and there was pretty much always a breeze during our 9 days. This helped keep it cool but did restrict sea swimming (if you are not a strong swimmer) and water sports, but without it would probably have been too hot unless you want a "Fly and Flop", not our scene. Restaurants: the food in Mahogany for breakfast, lunch and dinner is excellent; superb Bajan and Seafood buffet evenings on respective nights. For us Aqua Terra restaurant was an amazing location but the menu too confusing for both guests and staff. Cerulean again great location but we could only get a booking once. The restaurant booking roster needs to go online! The staff were all efficient at there respective roles and so, so friendly with lots of quirks and great humour. They all seemed positive about what they were doing. It made the holiday. The concierge Michael organised three trips for us. He was so helpful and followed up on everything we asked for. The Island tour with Lisa and she was so good. They found us a catamaran trip when the company our friends had recommended was full. A “word to the wise” the catamaran tours are more Party boat than David Attenborough. Great fun for sure; 20 mins of snorkelling 100 meters off Carlise beach and an hour swimming 30 meters off Sandy Lane beach (Tiami Cat Tours, duration 5 hours). If you just want to snorkel, I think there are 90 min trips from The Boat House. We mistakenly went to Bridgetown on Sat morning. It would have been better if we’d been advised not to. The few things worth seeing were closed. Holetown and Speightstown had a much better vibe. As stated, our first trip to Barbados and the Caribbean as a whole. The Bajan’s were so friendly and the whole place felt safe and happy. Read less

We stayed at this hotel at the end of January, weather was windy and large sea swell for the duration of the 10 day stay with beach red flagged prohibiting any water activities, much calmer on the west side of the island. Plenty water sports available when weather permits. Beach has white soft sand, loungers on the beach are in need of some maintenance and cushions would benefit from a clean. Not much near to the hotel in way of bars/restaurants, walk of about 25 minutes into Oistens, however take care with the pavements as they are uneven and missing in many places. Local busses run regularly between Oistens and Bridgetown, cheap and plentiful, wave them down to stop for pickup. Hotel was very nice with 3 pools, one being adult only, small but adequate. Take care with the tiled floors, my wife had a slip coming from the toilets at the sports facility and badly bruised her hip and arm, slip warning signs everywhere, Room was fine with 2 double beds and clean shower facilities, serviced daily. Room had balcony with sea view, this was the Classic sea view, but seems all rooms have a sea view. Would suggest booking the superior room if your budget can manage. 4 main restaurants with a couple of snack bars, sufficient menu variation to suit all. All hotel staff were polite, helpful and friendly Special mention for Michael, Guest services/Concierge who we found to be extremely helpful, polite and a Top Guy. Read less
