The Hotel is very nice, clean and staff is fabulous. It is right downtown so it is noisy, the bus stop is right in front, so all day you hear their horns. The beach is small , good thing they have a break water because its rough water, red flag everyday. Bring your snorkel because all around the breakwater the fish are plentiful. The food was good, cook to order, no buffets. The menu is changed every 2 days so you get to try allot. IIt was nice having the boardwalk to stroll along the water day or night. Read less

The food is excellent and the staff are the friendliest bunch you are likely to meet. I highly recommend the rum tasting session with Michelle. You'll experience 6 different rums all with their own characters and learn what to look out for when you're ordering your favourite cocktails across the island. You'll also have a good laugh and a bit of a dance as you do. I can't recommend this place enough of you want your time in Barbados to be a real ing, friendly and well-fed one. 5* Read less

The staff at Soco was friendly and accommodating and each room has an ocean view. Michelle was amazing and helped me arrange a catamaran ride one morning. I especially liked the boardwalk outside the hotel which is good for running or a daily walk. The food at Soco was solid - I especially liked breakfast, a fresh piece of fish with plantains and sweet potato hash. The beach right outside the hotel is not wide, so I recommend w Rockley beach only a short walk down the boardwalk. Read less

Last year we had a ground floor room which we really liked but this year enjoyed a room on the second floor this time. Food remains very good, everything is cooked to order - if anything the portions are too large, even when I asked for a small portion. The staff are lovely and can’t do enough for you. We hope to be back. Read less
