Just returned from our second visit to this gorgeous place. We went last year and loved it so much we just had to return. What makes this hotel so very special apart from the beautiful beach front location, are the wonderful staff. We have been lucky enough to have travelled all over the world and these are the loveliest, friendliest staff you are ever likely to meet. They do a wonderful job of not only looking after the guests but chatting, joking and laughing with you, and making you feel very welcome. We stayed in a lovely verandah garden room, which is situated in a two storey building behind the main pool area overlooking the beautiful gardens. The room is very spacious with a separate shower, and wc and large free standing bath. Hair dressers are in the room and they are good ones, much appreciated as I have very thick hair. Huge very comfortable high bed so if you are small you may need a ladder. Large terrace with table and two chairs and a double sun bed. Start your evening in the champagne bar, where you will enjoy a different champagne each evening and learn a little about each, it's a lovely social place to chat and make new friends. Great to have a choice of restaurants, with the air conditioned Thyme restaurant open evenings only and you have to book. Malabar beach restaurant which is lovely, overlooking the beautiful beach, it's open during the day for lunch, and evenings (booking needed for evening only) Main terrace restaurant open lunch time (buffet style) and evening and is a mixture of buffet some nights and waiter service others. We found the food was very good, and beautifully presented in all the restaurants. The beach is stunning and although it's a public beach is never very busy, and there's plenty of sunbeds. The staff make sure you are kept hydrated with plenty of water and others drinks served on the beach as well as the lovely fresh fruit sticks and coconuts. So if you are thinking of booking this hotel don't hesitate but beware going once may not be enough, and you may join the many many people who return time and time again. 💕 Read less

Cannot fault the hotel, the food staff, rooms, pools, grounds, all perfect. Champagne bar was also a nice touch with daily wine and a description/tasting. Afternoon tea too. Great location, although near the small airport, it wasn't a problem as infrequent flights so no intrusion.

This was not the relaxing, tranquil hotel that we were hoping for, and as advertised in their marketing literature. This hotel is situated at the end of a small airport runway, so while trying to relax on the beautiful beach, which is also open to the public, you have the noise of low flying aircraft taking off above your head. From early morning and throughout the day there is also loud noise from high powered motor bikes that race down the road adjacent to the runway, often followed by the noise of sirens from ambulance/police vehicles. Sometimes in the morning or late at night you can hear dogs barking. The evening meal in the Terrace and Thyme Restaurants is very average and unfortunately the hotel rules on dress code is not being enforced. The St Lucia representative failed to inform us that our return taxis back to the airport was leaving early at 4.20pm and not 5pm as the paperwork stated. On a positive note, the hotel staff are great and the hotel gardens and swimming pools are beautiful. There are plenty of activities on offer and a well-equipped gym. This hotel is not cheap and, in my opinion, not good value for money. Sadly, we will not be returning guests. Read less

Don't sleep on the hand & foot massage! They utterly ruined my massage expectations since I been back home. The grounds are gorgeous!!!! Champagne hr is so much fun. Jahkim & the security made us feel safe and respected. Concierge: Chianti, Michael & Ms, Sandra helped me arrange truly magical moments. The staff was American Express level excellent. Anna, Tasha Nice, Tarneesha & Margarita kept the drinks flowing but blessed us w/ fruits and snacks to stay hydrated as well. Ms. Diana, Desma, Jacee, Faith and Mr. Nixon wowed us everyday! They were personable, without being phony. They had great recommendations and had us laughing too. Wait till you get the food...Ms. Charlene mastered eggs, whatever the style (poached) PERFECTION. I had tastes and smells lost to me since my grands passed Definitely make reservations at least one night. I had my 1st medium well steak and I get it now. The best part NO KIDS & little to no Wi-Fi except in the room and the main courtyard!!! If you are already happy with yourself then this place will be only amplify and add the scenery to your joy already. This was like staying w/ family. Read less

Staff constantly brought us drinks, whatever you wanted. Swim up bar had different depths so was suitable for both swimmers and non swimmers. There were also other pools and lots of seating (including loungers) available . We had a nice walk along the beach. As well as drinks, all you can eat buffet lunch was also included. My only gripe is that I wanted to stay longer. Unfortunately, the coach that P & O had arranged for us did not arrive to pick us up and we were stood outside waiting for 45minutes. However, the wonderful staff at Stolen Times ensured we got back to the ship safely. Read less
