I stayed four nights in the least expensive room category which was a good quality room. The resort is nicely designed with classy contemporary flair. Every aspect of my stay was excellent. I enjoyed daily snorkeling trips and water-sports activities. The staff and other folks I met around the island were polite, kind and welcoming. Good airport… Read more

This was a wonderful trip! Beautiful resort, great entertainment, and good food. Best of all was the Staff! Very helpful and accommodating to any and every need. This was our 11th trip to a Sandal's resort with never a disappointment! We will definitely vacation at this resort again!

Sandals St. Vincent is outstanding. It is located in a wonderful, picturesque part of the Island and is surrounded by mountains. The rooms are outstanding. The feel is light and modern and the beds are really comfortable. The large pool in the centre of the property is the hub and gives people an opportunity to gather with other guests as well as do some lap swimming. However, the infinity pool near the ocean is an outstanding place to simply stand and take in the view. The restaurants are all very good and offer different varieties of food options. We especially liked Skrimshaw for their breakfasts and Butch's is an outstanding restaurant. But the thing that comes to mind when thinking about Sandals St. Vincent is the warmth of its people. They are extremely happy people who really 'aim to please'. This was our twelfth stay at a Sandals and we look forward to coming back to Sandals St. Vincent in the next couple of years. Read less

Overall a wonderful holiday, but would I go back to this resort, probably not. The grounds and setting are stunning and our room (one of the cheapest) one of the best we’ve had. The staff are lovely, but the food choices and variety for me , were one of the worst. We tend to stick to two or three meals a day and don’t graze, so I found lunchtime and evening meals sometimes difficult to pick something if menu I fancied. I missed the ‘French type’ restaurant and butches probably gave me the best options but we couldn’t get in there until our 8th day. The diving set up and staff were amazing, boat comfortable and we got our longest sandals dives at this resort usually around 45-50 mins. Lots to see, reefs looked healthy and sites were relatively close. Divemaster Keon, Alex and Kevron were professional but also friendly and Keon particularly we noticed would clear any fishing line etc he found whilst diving, so cared about his environment. Pools were lovely, yes there is a fight for the pool overlooking the beach, we didn’t try in the mornings, but several times got lucky mid afternoon and got Sunbeds there. They could probably put more beds, shades by big pool, there is the space -these generally werre all reserved by 8am. Usual issues everywhere of people reserving beds they don’t use for hours or leaving, but then not putting their towels in the bin so not obvious it was free. I was poorly with D and V and did give sandals feedback as sanitisers in restaurants have now disappeared and some soap dispensers in toilets were not working or dispensed a minimal amount. With buffet type restaurants and people picking up utensils, I think sanitisers should be installed as in an all inclusive it doesn’t take a lot for bugs to spread. Bar staff were very good, special mention to Carla, Vivien and Desron who worked so hard. . As said all staff were great, but special mentions to Ramona at Sora, Latisha at Butches, Jodie in loyalty, Glenray -maintenance (we had an issue with our lock not shutting properly and he spent ages trying to sort it and double checking before leaving) alongside the dive staff already mentioned. Finally both taxi drivers were very friendly, but in particular the second also took his time and I felt very safe with , he also talked a lot about his island and the history. Read less

My husband and I have been to multiple sandals resorts. This resort was beautiful and the people were very pleasant but this was the most disappointing resort I have been to. My husband and I visited this resort for our anniversary which was noted at booking time in November. We also booked an excursion to swim with turtles ahead of time in November. The biggest issue was that ON THE EXCURSION MORNING we were told this excursion "no longer runs on Thursdays". We attempted to book another excursion but any of our interest were already full. We then were advised to check the aquatic center to schedule snorkeling from the resort, all of which were also booked. On our anniversary day we ordered a refill of water in the room and wine which did not arrive within 3 hours so another request was called. We explained it was our anniversary and the receptionist asked where we were dining this night. We thought maybe a nice table but instead we had an hour wait, my husbands dinner arrived without mine, and our server asked if we wanted dessert when I explained I still had not received my dinner. We spoke with the manager on duty earlier that day who said she would either leave a note in our room or come talk to us at the pool side to resolve our issues, neither happened until a further message was sent to sandals.com. We had asked if we could take the boat back to the airport on departure day, even at an extra cost and were told it is only for butler guests but they would be able to make an exception. On check out morning we went to the front desk and brought our credit card to be put on file. We confirmed the placement of our bags to be delivered to the dock instead of the front entrance 3x with staff and at departure time our suitcases were not there. The boat driver was hesitant to wait for our bags to be moved. These were the biggest issues among smaller inconveniences. The food was good, the accommodations were beautiful but we will not be returning to this resort and have reconsidered staying with sandals in the future. Read less
