The views from this hotel are unparalleled. My parents' bedroom had a sweeping panorama view of the harbour, while our room looked out upon the city - but we were so high up that we were looking down on everything around us meaning that the light was in no way compromised. The cleaning lady was very helpful in making up the sofa bed for us and also stocking up our coffee supplies. Breakfast had a really good variety, however the staff started taking the labels away from in front of each hot plate just after 10am (not good for the vegetarians in our group as this meant the dietary info was not available) and the actual food at 10:15 - I thought this was quite poor considering when you pay for breakfast it is from 7:30-10:30 so the full selection should be available for the whole duration. The location is only a 15 minute drive from the cruise port, however during our stay we did struggle to find taxis willing to take us back at night as the taxi drivers wanted to travel in the direction of HK Island. Very short walk to the local metro station and also a 7/11 is just over the road which was very handy. There is a lack of casual seating space in the lobby if you need to wait there for any reason - instead there is a café but you are only allowed to sit down if you are buying beverages. Read less

Our room was in the Tower block with harbour view ( the view was fantastic ) Our bed was super comfy the bathroom was very small plus had a bath with a shower over it was incredibly difficult to get in and out of and I slipped and bashed my leg and had an incredibly painful bruise as a result. Would not recommend for older people as very dangerous. There was a fridge but no mini bar We ordered room service and had to pay on delivery ( very strange as not had to do that anywhere else ) We saw lots of weddings in the hotel while we were there. Breakfast was very expensive so we didn’t eat at the hotel we went to a coffee shop close by which was lovely. The hotel is quite out of the way but area is quiet The one big downside was that the pool was closed for maintenance which we did not know when we booked after looking online I noticed they seem to do this every year Dec till March April I should point out we saw no evidence of any maintenance going on. Had we known about the pool we would have booked a different hotel. The small amount of staff we encountered were all pleasant We ate at the Japanese one night the food was great and the staff really really lovely. After walking all around Hong Kong for 5 days I probably wouldn’t pick this hotel to stay at again it is a bit too far away from everything. Read less

First time staying here and highly recommend it for families. While there are other value hotels, the standout here is the excellent service and staff. I almost skipped it after reading some reviews, but I’m glad I gave it a try. The hotel’s proximity to the MTR, local community, and relaxing promenade vibe made it perfect. The check-in process was smooth, with free-flow drinks at the club lounge and breakfast now served there. Our room was spotless, and the staff was friendly and attentive, even gifting a bottle of wine for my parents’ anniversary. A minor note: the bathtub water isn’t very hot, but the overall experience, including the amazing pool view, more than made up for it. Definitely worth the money—will be back! Read less
