The hotel

Upscale rooms, chic dining and unforgettable sunset views are all on offer at this gated haven right on the beachfront in Juhu. Equally convenient for business as it is perfect for relaxing, you've got easy access to the business district whilst also being steps from feeling the sand between your toes. With multiple dining options on offer, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to dinner. But we definitely recommend the Lotus Cafe for Sunday brunch, with special entertainment and fun food for kids (and plenty of food and drink to enjoy for the adults too), it's a hit with all the family. If you're here as part of a business trip, think about upgrading to an Executive room which includes access to the lounge where you can work in peace whilst enjoying hors d'ouevres and selected complimentary refreshments. When you're not working, enjoy a dip in the infinity pool or head to the sauna and steam room to recharge.

Excellent experience. Bed was the most comfortable I have slept in, pillows are the fluffiest and just right. Every member of the staff was polite, pleasant and helpful. Breakfast spread is mind-blowing. So is dinner. The poolside, beach view.....amazing ! So clean and sparking. My best experience So far.

Hotel is situated on the beach; however, totally unaccessible via wheel chair. If you are travelling to this hotel with anyone who requires a wheelchair than this hotel must be avoided. The garden area itself has a total of nearly 20 steps up and down to access the pool area and there is zero access for wheelchairs. This hotel is not suited for… Read more

The best part of the stay was the spa. My masseuse was incredible- one of the top massages I have received. The best part of the stay was the spa. My masseuse was incredible- one of the top massages I have received. The room was ok- we have stayed at equivalently priced or cheaper hotels that were nicer in the rooms. Service was not good- the staff at the Lotus were inattentive, even at slow times. They forgot to give us menus when asked, brought over flat sparkling wine, messed up orders a few times and were messing around on their phones or chatting instead of addressing guests. When I checked in, the service desk staff accidentally put a hold on my credit card that was a factor of 10X higher than what my price would be, maxing my credit card. They apologized and reversed it after I brought it to their attention but they did nothing more to mitigate the inconvenience of me not having an available card for a few days. The beach wasn't worth going to with a young child- not clean with several pan handlers. Pool area was nice. If I were to go to Mumbai again with a young family, I would stay at another hotel closer to Marine Drive. This one seems to be more relevant to folks that need to be in Juhu for its location (shopping, celebrities, restaurants) rather than foreign tourists on a family holiday. Read less
