Me, My wife and our teen aged daughter were so happy that we chose The Maya for our stay. We stayed in a 2 Bedroom private pool villa for a week.
The villa came with a personal private butler. To be honest he worked like a genie. I was contacted by him on WhatsApp even before we arrived before a day and he was there constantly in touch with us throughout our stay.
Right from room cleaning time to turn down time to ordering In room dining to booking a spa appointment for us. Everything was done by him and in a jiffy.
The property it self is something that one has to experience and resinate to understand the everlasting impact it leaves on you.
The staff are impeccable. Always smiling. Always warm. Always genuinely wanting to help. They make this heaven all the more special to guests who stay here.
I very rarely say this. But if I can leave more than 5 Stars then I would do so without any hesitation.

The most picturesque beautiful hotel that has it all. Stunning location, the most kind and beautiful staff and so much to see and do.
Breakfast is amazing, dinners and shows every night are a wonderful cultural experience.

The bathroom was lovely but getting a bit old around the edges but didn't effect our stay.
A fabulous butler service which enhanced the whole experience! Nothing was too much trouble and dealt with efficiently and swiftly, just excellent! The whole team was great!
The whole resort was constantly being groomed and was stunning.
The riverside pool was just gorgeous also a kid free zone (under 12) which was really nice for a relaxing swim! Thoughtful for adults travelling without kids. But there was another beautiful pool for them on site too.
I would recommend the spa, amazing massage in an amazing location along the river. We thoroughly enjoyed our Batik painting, the artist was fabulous!
I would definitely go back to Maya Ubud!

Staff were fantastic, always friendly and strove to provide 5 star service. An amazing property and location. The jungle / riverside infinity pool is a special and fantastic setting. Compared to the few other resorts I have stayed at over the years, this one was just about the best and great value by comparison.
