Where is it

City centre location, close to shopping, entertainment and dining destinations. Direct access from the hotel lobby to the MRT subway station. Transfer time for Singapore Airport: 25 minutes.

Firstly the staff at JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La are the best! They are very friendly, patient, polite and delightful. We stayed at JEN Orchardgateway for 2-weeks, as a family of four. The location was the best, the hotel is literally part of a shopping mall with an MRT within the same complex. The famous Orchard Road can be accessed from one of the exits from the mall. The shopping mall within is huge and there are food eateries everywhere at affordable prices. We were here celebrating several special family anniversaries and the JEN staff noted this from our booking info. They surprised us with lovely tokens of gifts for us to enjoy during our stay, we also received a few extra niceties as we were long stay guests. We had adjoining rooms, which was great. The rooms were very tidy and a comfortable home base for our stay. The buffet breakfast was always a good start to the day with daily changes to the the food offerings, you had the staples, but some delights that needed to be explored and excite the foreign taste buds. There is a local laundry service, a couple of blocks away from the hotel that has token operated machines i.e., $1 SGD = 1 token. They have washing and drying machines. There was a chill water and ice making machine on the common hallway and a vending machine if needed. We saw in the New Year on the roof top bar area that also has a swimming pool. There are views of most of the city from above. The famed MBS is clearly seen on the distance. You will love staying at the JEN Singapore Orchardgateway by Shangri-La, the staff are wonderful, the location awesome and transportation via MRT is a must. Don't be afraid to use the MRT anytime of the day, it's safe, clean and the directions self explanatory. I'm sure the staff can help if needed. Read less

Great location right above MRT station and shopping centre. Exceptionally clean. Good buffet breakfast with good variety. The rooftop pool and views were brilliant especially at night. Friendly staff. Right on Orchard rd also which was convenient.

We had planned our Christmas vacation a long time ago and had high expectations of the hotel. We were not disappointed, but rather the hotel and the staff exceeded them. Upon arriving, we had booked an airport transportation and Andrew was very polite, attentive and informative towards us. At reception, we were greeted with very helpful and polite staff. We were offered an extra bed for our son, free of charge. This was a very pleasant surprise as we thought and were previously told that the room type would not fit an extra bed. The room was more spacious than we had thought and the cleaning staff has kept it perfectly comfortable and clean for us throughout our visit. The breakfast has been amazing every morning, but if you don’t want to queue for a table, I suggest you be at the restaurant before 8 am. The absolute crown of the place is the rooftop pool. I want to mention Ina especially from the Tiki bar who made us and especially our son feel special and welcomed every day we met her. The hotel offers great value for the money. Read less

Facilities were superb and a great view at the swimming pool to enjoy the sunset with the city view as your background! Connectivity of the hotel to the Orchard area allowed us to explore the city center and get back to our room fast when were felt tired.
