Good hotel 4 1/2 star. Well situated and 5-10 minute walk to Terminal 21 next to BTS and Sukhumvit Rd. Good hotel 4 1/2 star. Well situated and 5-10 minute walk to Terminal 21 next to BTS and Sukhumvit Rd. Hotel does show some signs of aging at some areas and a few floors only have been renovated though all floors are in the process of being so eventually. No electrical outlets in the new renovated rooms. Need to shave and hair dry in the living room which is not pratical at least for me. Good overall breakfast with variety of items. Sometimes overcrowded in high seasons but the restaurant staff does a good job of managing the flow of people. The pool is nice and good for swimming but needs more long chairs to accomodate everyone wanting to enjoy it during the day. The gym has all new equipment and weights. Very good atmosphere and the manager Meeh is very helpful and friendly. Overall a good hotel for the price and value. Read less

Hotel reception very nice and looking forward to the rooms. However they were a bit disappointing as the rooms are tired need some TLC. Old carpet, furniture bashed, marked and scratched. I know its wear and tear but its very noticable. The size of the rooms are good and spacious, with a large comfy bed. Staff very friendly and… Read more

I know its wear and tear but its very noticable. The size of the rooms are good and spacious, with a large comfy bed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast nice, good selection but can get busy. Location - we felt it was a bit out from the main tourist sites so if you're only there for a few days be aware. In saying that the subway and skytrain is a 10 min walk which was a god send as the traffic in Bangkok is BUSY as you end up sitting a while in a car when trying getting anywhere. Read less

We have used Rembrandt Hotel on many occasions pre-corona, and at their website it looks like before, BUT: This hotel is no longer a 4-star hotel, maybe 2-3 stars. We stayed at the hotel from december 21th 2024 to end of the day january 05th 2025 We had booked a Luxury Room, but what we got was a worn and ugly room, and no hot water avialable in the shower/bathroom. Seems like most of the experienced english speaking employees are not there anymore, it was a fight to be understood, and many of the employees at the reception was arrogant and not customer friendly. Even the check-out was a hassle since our balance sheet was not updated, the pre-paid items was once again claimed for payments, and the deduction for already pre-paid cancelled Tapas party was not deducted. Assume checking out will take some time. We pre-ordered Dinner Event for Christmas Eve, only to find out when me met up at the start of the dinner that they had booked us to Christmas Day Event instead. Even worse, we pre-ordered for New Years Eve a Tapas setting in the Lobby bar, only to find out the event was cancelled when we met up, and nobody seemed to have any knowledge about the event. ordering drinks in the Mexican restaurant was also a new experience, I ordered a glass of red-wine, not cold, and a bottle of drinking water, cold, but what i got was a cold glass of red-wine. Breakfast was not easy to reach, there was a long line waiting from already 06.00 to get a seating, and then there was lines on all counters with food, and only one person making eggs and omletts for all that people. we ended up having our breakfast outside the hotel every day after the first morning although we had pre-paid breakfast for our 15 days stay. The advertised SPA was no longer existing, and the previous large Gym was a small place high up in what used to be the Executive Floor lounge. The previous super Indian Restaurant, Rang Mahal on the top of the hotel was gone, that was a big surprise for the 3 gentlemen I accidentally met in the elevator, they had booked their New Year Dinner there. What was functioning in the hotel was the House keeping and the Limousine transfer to/from airport, that was just like before. Sorry to conclude that this was our last visit at this once great hotel. Next time we avoid the hassle and book into a real 4 star hotel Read less

Fantastic hotel in the city center. Large, high quality rooms by international standards, quiet, great pool with food and drinks until 10PM, good service.
