Rooms are stylish , contemporary Asian with large comfortable beds and large bathrooms. The tub and separate rain shower combination works well with loads of space but still feels warm and welcoming . Outside we had a lovely garden and very warm plunge pool . The hotel gardens are very attractive , quiet and attract wildlife -plenty of frogs in the lovely ponds and even some impressive lizards in the creek ! The all day breakfast option with both Thai and European choices is a winner and means there’s no pressure - eat a late brunch outdoors with lovely staff in a garden setting . The Thai restaurant back from the beach has a great menu with lots of choice of well presented flavour packed food at real value for a 5 star hotel . The more International focussed alternative gives a good alternative if you need it and themed evenings add further choice . A small but well equipped gym and useful library are additional benefits Staff throughout are friendly and engaged in your enjoyment. With some good excursions as well this is an excellent choice Well worth a stay Read less

The thai beef salad , is one of the best things I have ever eaten. As expected the breakfasts were again superb. We had previously been staying at a nearby hotel, and although that was ok, the Sarojin, was just a few levels up in every way. The beach is important to me, and the loungers here are comfy and the beach staff excellent. Also you can get shade when required. If I had to find one fault, I would say the cocktails are not amazing, especially considering their price. All in all excellent, and we hope to return. A big thanks you to all the staff. Read less

It’s been quite a few years Thailand…we won’t make that mistake again! The Sarojin was a wonderful experience from start to finish. A stylish smallish hotel with lovely rooms…the staff are excellent and as you come to expect in Thailand, genuinely so friendly and helpful. The food in both restaurants was of high quality and a very reasonable price for a 5 star hotel unless you have a wine habit as we do..the wine is expensive, but that is Thai wide thing and not the hotels fault. The hotel has beautiful grounds with a lovely pool and a large pond at its centre. It’s also on the beach where staff constantly replenish you with fresh filtered water and a lovely touch of watermelon in the afternoon. The beach itself is standard Thai..local food and drinks are available up and down it and for virtually nothing and all good quality that we had…downsides are few..the public beach near the hotel is quite busy with people walking past and at high tide the stretch is very narrow, though if you walk a couple of hundred metres north you have miles of deserted beech to stroll on. And finally, the toilet is not for everyone! Yes, the toilet. The rooms have a large bathroom with an outdoor “style” shower/bath area. The toilet only has a door on one side and the other side is open to the shower room..you can’t see into it unless you go looking but some may find it a little disconcerting. Would we return? Yes. It was fabulous. Read less

Words cannot adequately describe this beautiful sanctuary and the experience we had at the Sarojin. From the moment we pulled in and sat down in the lobby to check in while overlooking the beautiful grounds we knew we were in a very special place. Everything from the meticulously kept surroundings, the scrumptious food, the experiences offered (which we took advantage of almost every single one even though everyone there told us to just take a day or two to relax), the most amazing and perfectly executed New Years Eve celebration, the spa and our first Thai massages, everything far exceeded any expectations we had going into our first trip to Thailand. But most importantly: the staff (which sounds weird saying because they are more like guides and friends). Everyone there was so accommodating, so helpful, so friendly, always going above and beyond for others! Hate to mention names specifically because everyone was so genuinely kind but special thanks to Kade, Sonya, Tom, for your help and guidance in arranging ALL the adventures we experienced and we so look forward to returning this little piece of heaven on Earth many times in the upcoming years! We spent five nights at the Sarojin and we loved it. From start to finish staff looked after us. The hotel layout, buildings, gardens were lovely and spacious. Our room was large and clean. Breakfast each day was delicious. Everything freshly cooked, with fruits, breads, cereals, eggs, local. We had a very early tour start date one morning and were able to preorder a take away breakfast which was really helpful. We had our lunches and dinners in their Thai restaurant “Edge”. Everything we ate was delicious. Only suggestion for improvement is a better coffee machine and/or employ a trained barista as coffee could be better, tasted like a pod machine. Every member of staff was helpful, attentive, helped with any queries we had. This hotel was worth every penny, if in the area again we will only stay here. Read less
