There is honestly no way to describe Rayavadee in words, but I will try. Ultimate paradise, unparalleled service, and the most beautiful location I have ever seen with my own eyes. We stayed here for 5 days in December and I could not have dreamed up a better experience than the one we had at this resort. I get emotional at the possibility of never being able to return, truly depressed, so I have decided that when my fiancé & I get married, our honeymoon will most definitely be here. We were greeted with delicious welcome drinks & a large posterboard presentation of the whole property. Then we were driven to our cottage in a golf cart (the property is huge, very lush and green, and the paths immaculate). The cottages are perfectly nestled in the nature of the trees & plants and our cottage interior was beautifully designed & so pristine! On the living area table we were gifted with a bottle of champagne, cookies, and the sweetest note from the staff. The bed was amazing and the bath products smelled heavenly. On our walk to breakfast each day we would randomly see monkeys, monitor lizards, hornbill birds, and even a kitty cat! The resort breakfast was better than any I’ve had ANYWHERE!!! I could write a whole separate review for the French toast alone! (And also the boran coffee, and the huge selection of different fruit juices!!) It seemed as if every time we left our room, they came to service it. There were always fresh towels & rags even if we only left for an hour. They cleaned & organized everything and even the little things (like putting the hotel slippers right next to the bed) were just icing on the service cake. The pool in front of Railay Beach is huge and stunning with the cliffs surrounding it!! The beaches are beautiful (especially Phra Nang Cave Beach) with the limestone cliffs and the resort allowed us to use the kayaks every day for free. If you want to relax on a lounger, don’t even try to lay down your own towel because the staff will come take it right out of your hands to do it for you!!! As soon as you’re settled, they bring you ice cold water and snacks of dried veggies, peanuts, & banana chips! We had dinner at the Grotto one evening and it was perfection. The sunset view from our table was more gorgeous than any postcard in the world. My fiancé treated us to a couples massage at the spa and I have never in my life felt so pampered and spoiled. No detail was missed here - the rose petal bath with hot tea, the coolest monkey massage tables ever, the disposable underwear, just perfection everywhere. Rayavadee was the experience of a lifetime and I will never forget it as long as I live. Google only allows 5 stars but Rayavadee deserves a million. I cannot imagine anywhere more perfect, it's the most special place on earth. Read less

This hotel is expensive. If a friend of mine didn’t highly recommend it and convince me to go, I would think twice. I’m so glad that I did listen to him and went there with my family.
