don't book here if you like a smoke or a late night. Lots will probably disagree with this reveiw but i am writing it for anyone who is like me and likes a smoke and the occasional late night. First the rooms are very nice and spacious and most have a spectacular veiw from the balcony which you can watch the sunset. Where this place fell away from a five star review is as a smoker i enjoy a cig after my breakfast or with a beer, but there are no smoking tables and you are only allowed to smoke in an area where they have put two chairs and an ash tray. This is the same area if you are having a beer and fancy a fag not even a table provided for your morning coffee or evening beer. Another gripe is the shuttle bus that takes you to your room, the rooms are set amongst the cliffs so if you have a room which most are high up this bus is essential to get you most way to your room but if you like to stay out later than 11:30 bring some hiking gear cos that's when the bus stops running. One small problem also is getting yourself a coffee a breakfast time can be a pain but not always as they only have two coffee machines and they sometimes run out of beans and are not refilled straight away. But if you don't smoke and are to bed early this is the hotel for you. Read less

Not a problem though as were shown to an air conditioned lounge area which had showers to use (with towels) and could use the pool/bar. Staff keep main luggage at reception and take it to your room when it is ready. We had quite a few stairs to climb and couldn't see a lift so were grateful of this. Hotel is very clean and our room was huge with a big bed. Air conditioning works well. Not noisy at all, even with few kids in the pool it was very relaxing. Pools are lovely especially the waterfall one with swim up bar. Never had issue getting a sunbed and staff happy to find you one if you wanted one moved. Easy walk to Patong beach and into shops. Would highly recommend! Read less

Stayed at this Hotel from the 18th of November to the 3rd of December. I had read some poor reviews about this hotel before my stay but I honestly couldn't find fault with it at all. Room was superb as was the customer service and food. I'm going to add a few tips that I would of liked before I went. When you want to go to the town, Bangla road ETC. You exit the hotel, cross the road via the Zebra crossing (which you are helped with by a very nice man with a red flag and a whistle). You then turn left and walk down the hill and you come across Patong beach. Its only a short walk then you come to all the venders selling street food (which I really enjoyed) Then a few hundred yards you come to all the bars, restaurant's and massage parlours. I had a massage every day, absolutely amazing, a 1 hour foot massage costs about £7, an oil Massage for 1 hour is about £11. So relaxing and worth every penny. If you want a decent massage avoid the shops where the girls are calling out to you, (they don't really want to be giving you foot massages if you know what I mean). Some shops actually have *no sex* on the door, they are proper massages. After the massage shops and bars ETC you come to Bangla road, crazy place but a must do. You have to go in the evening to truly experience what its like. From the hotel to Bangla road walking slowly is around 20-25 mins, a very nice walk. The trips I enjoyed the most was Kayaking through the Caves and snorkelling, both really enjoyable but there are a number of trips to choose from, all were very good. I didn't know if you needed to Tip in Thailand, they never seem to expect it but I tipped most people 100 or 200 Baht, they were always very grateful. I always tipped the massage ladies 100 Baht which is just over £2, worth every penny. Fantastic hotel, amazing experience, so glad I finally went to Thailand. I hope this review was helpful, you will have a wonderful holiday if you are going to this hotel. Read less
