Our 1st-floor ocean view room was a perfect retreat—quiet, relaxing, and outfitted with a super soft bed and large, fluffy pillows.
The shuttle to downtown Key West was convenient, and the resort’s location provided the best of both worlds—close to the action but peacefully tucked away. The only downside was that NYE didn’t have much going on at the resort, and they ran out of beer, which was disappointing. Late-night food options were slim, too.
Despite these minor setbacks, Havana Cabana was a perfect spot to celebrate. We can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

We had king bed room, was specious and clean but terrible PILLOWS, lack of cabinet draw and closet. The bathroom was small and lack of hook and place to hang towels. Poorly designed. The do not disturb sign was made of thin paper, useless!. Get wet or blown away. Front door cannot be completely closed.
Shuttle service to and back from downtown was convenient but don’t forget to ask what time the last call is. And don’t forget to tip.

Three different staff members including the manager said we would be charged only 468.00 for the one night . The manager refused to give a credit for the rest of the amount. I give zero stars and do not recommend. A pipe on the deck was leaking and rusty and we tripped on it. The extension cord for the hanging light was am orange construction cord. Tv was hung crooked. Bartender was not friendly. Ocean view, but have to look over the parking lot and busy road to view it. Not room enough for two people on the deck. Very disappointed in the manager and the way they handled our stay

Don’t be fooled by the pictures on the website! Unfortunately my partner and I had a terrible experience with this hotel. Booked for 7 nights, upon arrival at the airport we waited for our shuttle for over an hour. Texted the hotel and they said they were waiting for us at departure? Okay?? Finally got picked up by a van (not the old cool cars they say pick you up) and when we pulled up we knew immediately we made a mistake. It’s on a busy busy road (5 lanes) so there is no sound of the ocean, just loud mufflers. The hotel is all parking lot and littered with garbage. We checked in and waited for our room to be ready. We sat at the pool (which is very pretty) but it is COLD! No heaters. Went to the hot tub, waters freezing. Told staff, they said they would turn it up. Never warmed up during our four hour wait for our room. Turns out it was broken and they had to call mechanics in. We were given two free drink tickets for the bar. I don’t drink (sober over 5 years) so my partner tried preferring a virgin drink for me and the bartender was appalled that I didn’t want alcohol. Then proceeded to tell us drink tickets didn’t cover “cocktails.” Finally got to our room *ocean front with balcony* What a joke! The room reeked of pinesol so bad we had to open the door to the balcony! Couldn’t open the door all the way because the balcony is so small you can’t sit in the chair unless you walked out, shut the door to sit. The view was parking lot and the 5 lane road, with a hint of the ocean. THEN the window air conditioner vents directly onto you AND the hose with continuation ran onto our feet! I stood up to go into shut the AC off and stepped on an exposed piece of metal!! My partner had me sit on the side of the bath tub to rinse the wound and there was NO HOT WATER! We communicated with the front desk our desire to leave and cancel the 6 remaining nights. We were told we couldn’t because there was no manager on staff at the time, we would have to wait until 8am the following day. Hoping to air out the room to get one night sleep we kept the door open, but then received a text from the hotel saying AC must be kept on during our stay to avoid moisture in the rooms. Okay, we shut the door and turned AC back on. Within 2 or 3 hours my partners allergies were very bad and she bang wheezing! We couldn’t get out fast enough!!! We were at the front counter at 8am waiting for a manager, didn’t come until almost 10. Manager said she would allow us to cancel our stay for the rest of the 6 days with NO cancellation fee because our stay was not what we expected, and due to the extreme allergic reaction to the room. Fast forward a few days after leaving .. received a cancellation fee and a he night stay of $1,250.00 dollars! We were told it would be $468! Told this 2 separate times. Just got off the phone with them, turns out they will NOT refund the over charge and said they told us of the cancellation fee.
Terrible management, terrible service!
