The only thing between this hotel and Daytona Beach is its fabulous shore-side pool deck. Looking out over the ocean, it stretches down to a handful of steps that lead you directly onto Florida’s most famous sands. It’s a view that’s also captured while you’re dining on seafood specialities at Doc Bale’s Grill, tucking into street food inspired dishes at The Blind Turtle, and enjoying at tipple or two at McCoys Rum Room and Waves Beach Bar. But it’s not all sun, sea, and sand at Hilton Daytona Beach Oceanfront Resort — you'll also love the gym, spa, and prime location among the shops and entertainment of Ocean Walk Village.

The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The valet staff were great. Sara and Yuri are great bartenders at the Rum Bar. … very personable and make great cocktails.
Food was very good at Don Rico’s and Hyde Park Steakhouse . A great visit. The rooms are little dated but clean and comfortable.
Is this the worst Hilton?

Keep in mind this is being called a Hilton Resort! While the location cannot be beat the rooms are what you'd expect to find at a run down motel on a county road. The furniture is beat up. The carpeting ripped. The bathroom is right out of 1999. Rust everywhere, cracked/missing tiles and plumbing that isn't that great. My group had two rooms…

The carpeting ripped. The bathroom is right out of 1999. Rust everywhere, cracked/missing tiles and plumbing that isn't that great. My group had two rooms and each room was terrible. The rest of the property could use a major reno also (elevators were beat up; ripped wallpaper in several places). They charge a $25.00 resort fee for towels, wifi, and the gym??? Unacceptable and not even close to the quality that one expects from the Hilton name plate. Oh, and valet parking is $40.00/night. Do yourself a favor...stay elsewhere!

Sara in Rum Bar
Dec 9, 2024mpstu
Sara in the Mc Coys Rum bar was fantastic. Asking for a drink she had not made before, she was up to the task to make it. It turned out great. I also had a co worker try it for the first time. Black Walnut Old Fashon Thank you for going beyond and willing to try it.
Awesome Bartending Experience

Had a great experience in McCoy’s Rum Rom. The bartender, Sarah, was AWESOME!!! Very personable and customer focused. She made my trip stay a true experience. Sarah customized and Old Fashion for a gut with Black Walnut Bitters. Totally delivered. Thank You from StL.
