The hotel

Set in the heart of Las Olas business district in Fort Lauderdale, the Hyatt Centric Las Olas is the launching pad to your Fort Lauderdale experience. The hotels location is within walking distance to dining, shopping and entertainment and  just minutes away from the beach. Balcony Rooms feature cityscape views with either 1 king-size bed or 2 queen-size beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Cabana Rooms feature direct access to the pool area from the private terrace, with either 1 king-size bed or 2 double beds, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

Deluxe Rooms are larger in size with a sleeper sofa and 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Centric Suites feature city views from the balcony, a separate living room with sleeper sofa, and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Centric Two Bedroom Suites feature a balcony overlooking the city, living area with kitchenette, two and a half bathrooms, and two bedrooms each with a king-size bed, sleeping maximum 4 adults.

The restaurant was the best part of our stay. The staff was ver friendly. Direen, our server, was delightful. The food was delicious! The room was very noisy. It felt like we were sleeping above a drag strip with cars racing and reving their engines all night long.

My wife and I had an excellent stay. We had originally booked the Hotel Colonnade in Coral Gables for the week. We stayed one night and were not happy with the hotel or staff and subsequently moved to your hotel after my wife heard about it from someone she follows on Instagram. We have stayed at a number of hotels in the Fort Lauderdale area over the years and will only return to yours now that we have experienced it. We have already booked April 16/17 nights on our next visit. The room was very clean, we enjoyed the balcony and the staff was excellent. Everyone from the valets, front desk and housekeeping staff was excellent. The only thing we will try to do differently the next time is stay in Room 1546 (or one of the other corner rooms on that side). We definitely intend to make the Hyatt Centric our choice of hotel in the future and will be passing your hotel along to anyone else we know who will be traveling to the area. Read less

 We have stayed here numerous times and love the place! While the hotel itself is lovely, it is the Staff that truly makes this place stand out - from the Valet Staff to the Housekeeping Staff, everyone is wonderful. A MAJOR shout-out to Jeff, the Director of Rooms. He gets our vacation off to a good start by assisting with our reservations.
 Jeff is a gem of a Guy. He goes above and beyond to make sure we are okay during our stay. The accommodations are lovely, comfortable, and quiet
. We usually stay in a suite that overlooks Huizenga Park. 
The Park is currently undergoing a facelift and it has been enjoyable watching the progress over the past few months from the suite’s LARGE balcony.
 Also love the Bee Kind bath products! There is an abundance of cool shops and restaurants just steps from the hotel which adds to the fun, but we find ourselves spending a lot of time at the hotel’s restaurant/bar, HarborWood Urban Kitchen.
 HarborWood is fantastic. The food is yummy and the Staff is excellent!
 Spending time at HarborWood is like spending time with old Friends. Every single staff member that we have encountered at HarborWood is terrific! 
 Special kudos to Tiffani. She is a Doll! 
I don’t know her particular official title but I would say she is a Food/beverage Manager. Her upbeat personality is infectious.
 The Bartenders, Daniel and Stefanie, make us feel comfy and well-attended to.
 The Happy Hour specials and the Monday-Wednesday specials are a nice touch. And, the HarborWood breakfast crew is equally amazing! To name a few: Lila, Shanette, Direen, Eduardo, and Shardine
...they all totally brighten our day. The breakfast choices are numerous and the dishes are all so plentiful and delicious!
 It feels like “coming home” upon arrival at this hotel. 
 We are already looking into booking our next stay!

Doreen was great. Very personable and attentive. She made sure the order was timely and accurate. Doreen made sure I wasn’t going to get dehydrated. Food was very good and plentiful. The ambiance was very nice but a bit loud. The restaurant was clean and well organized
