We had spectacular ocean views and the ambience on entry was better than we expected. We were greeted by J T who is the valet and we appreciated his attentiveness to the fact that I'm a wheelchair user. He asked my hubby if he could assist him in getting me out of our SUV instead of yanking the door open. We do have handicapped plates but I'm amazed at the inconsiderate attendance of some valet's at places. The front desk Mgr and another agent was at the front desk, they were professional but showed genuine friendliness with the guests checking in. I've written complaints and concerns to hotels management in the past about rooms they say are ADA compliant and they are NOT!!
We were prepared for any hiccups, but didn't have one! The room had ample doorway clearance. (pleased) We will definitely stay at the Sonesta Ft Lauderdale Beach again because it was definitely the most secured I felt getting in and out of the bathroom without fear of falling and injuring myself!!

Loved my stay! The team was quick, efficient and friendly! The lobby bar/restaurant was excellent and they apparently just revamped their menu! Try the vegan steak it will surprise you!!! I loved my stay and will be back.

Amazing experience, thanks to Andrea! Came out here from California for my birthday and she made my stay extra especial with sending a champagne bottle and chocolate covered strawberries. Such an amazing host , very helpful and attentive. I will definitely come back!
Perfect hotel for a quiet relaxing stay by the beach

We had a wonderful experience here. The staff were very welcoming, accommodating to our needs, and friendly, especially Andrea & Jet. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. The decor strikes a balance between homey and elegant and the hotel promotes an aesthetic of calm. We found this is a great value for the cost.
