The hotel

Florida's first AAA Five Diamond hotel – need we say any more?! The Ritz-Carlton in Fort Lauderdale is glamorous yet unpretentious with it’s nautical design, comfy seating areas and relaxed ambience. Only the highway separates the hotel from the beachfront, but with a pedestrian bridge you’ll have your toes in the sand in minutes. Alternatively, plot up in a poolside cabana on the elevated deck looking over the Atlantic with it’s dedicated bar and food service at hand to meet your needs. With an expansive fitness centre overlooking the Intracoastal waterway and a spa that offers it’s own happy hour you can ensure your mind and body are well looked after. When it’s time to explore further afield, mainland Los Olas Boulevard is the place to go, just a short water taxi ride away, for which you’ll receive daily complimentary tickets from the hotel.

We had a lovely experience at the Ritz Carlton. The rooms were clean and the service was top tier. The service at the beach was amazing as well. Samantha was very kind and offered us cold water and sunscreen. David and Ryan assisted me with towels and they were very kind as well. Overall, my experience was great and I recommend for the family!

Was in beachfront balcony… you share balcony with whoever is next door— a piece canvas (?) separates the balconies. It’s only an issue if there is noise next door and oh there was… kids next door and also heard them through the bizarrely thin walls. Anyone in the hall could be heard as well. All night. Also felt more family oriented than business (no desk in room)…but the only pro was a great sized bathroom. Oh I wanted to like it, but sadly a pass. Read less

We love renting in the cabañas by Sebastian beach. Ruben remembered us from a previous stay, and went out of his way to make our experience perfect. He made sure we had the bed we preferred. Ruben’s friendly and helpful attitude really stood out, and he ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

No matter where we are in Florida we always end up at the in front of the Ritz Carlton hotel. There are lounge chairs and umbrellas there. Ryan was friendly always with a smile, was really helpful in setting us up. I would like to thank Ryan from Boucher Brothers!
