The Breeze Restaurant guitarist Arturo Romay was phenomenal!! Service and quality of food was superb. A great experience. Also, the ambience of sitting next to the ocean was delightful. A great evening with the family in an absolutely beautiful setting.

Listened to Arturo Romay play his guitar at the pool area until the sun went down. Anyone needing an exceptional musician for your wedding, corporate event or private party should hear him play a mix of Santana to Petty. He is exceptional. We will watch for him on the Grammy’s one day.
Image of the Tripadvisor rating Lots of negatives BUT Amazing staff which elevates the oroperty

So I'll start with the negatives: 1) Not enough choices of on-site restaurants 2) Restaurants weren't great, mediocre at best 3) Property, especially the rooms are stuck in the 90's and need upgrades ASAP (a bit dingy) 4) Access to the pool area and beach with a stroller was difficult (stairs instead of ramps, etc.) 5) No included pool or… Read more
So I'll start with the negatives: 1) Not enough choices of on-site restaurants 2) Restaurants weren't great, mediocre at best 3) Property, especially the rooms are stuck in the 90's and need upgrades ASAP (a bit dingy) 4) Access to the pool area and beach with a stroller was difficult (stairs instead of ramps, etc.) 5) No included pool or beach group exercise activities at the property. Things like this liven up the place and add fun to the itinerary. Now you're asking yourself, with all those negative points, how did I give them such a high rating. Well heri are the positive points: 1) Customer service is AMAZING. The staff is very nice, respectful, always asking if we needed anything and just elevated this place from a 2.5 to a 5. They are very diverse culturally (which I love, especially in this area) and friendly. Everyone from the bell boys to the concierge to the gym staff to the maids, all kind hearted people who are attentive. The restaurant staff in all the different restaurants were also great. Everyone from the coffee shop employees to the waiters at all the restaurants. Our favorite waiter was the waiter at Nobu (energetic Hispanic gentleman in his 30's to 40's who was in charge of our group of 23 on January 1st was a star). If it wasn't for them, I would have checked out on day 2 and found a different more modern and updated hotel. 2) Securing beds at the pool or beach is very easy and you're not fighting people to sit somewhere. This is great especially since I was here with family and we wanted to be closer to the pool in order to watch the kids in the pool. I'd add a lifeguard on staff just to ease some fears of parents (my boys are trained swimmers so I want assorted l worried but I did run into and converse with two separate families who voiced their concern of no lifeguard on duty). 3) The guitarist that was hired on the Friday of our stay was just amazing. His name was Arturo. He was just a talented jolly and fun professionally trained flamenco guitarist who added such a great vibe to the pool deck. I sat there in the restaurant by the pool and watched a La Liga futbõl match while listening to his tunes; just pure bliss. There was even a point (during the halftime of the match of course) where we all got up and danced to his tunes (our party had 23 people in it so we created a little Armenian dance party). He just brightened up the mood. I wish he, and other live performances were there throughout our stay instead of just one day. 4) Boxed water was provided throughout the resort at all times for free. This is extremely important, especially for someone like me who drinks over 160 ounces of water a day. 5) The gym is good for being a hotel gym. I do wish they utilized all the extra space in the gym are by opening up the extra rooms and adding more free weights and other equipment. The guys at the gym were very attentive and I noticed them constantly restocking the fridge, cleaning surfaces and making sure the gym is clean. (Having complimentary protein powder for post-workout would be an awesome extra touch - I've experienced this along with complimentary pre-workout powder at other hotel gyms). Overall, despite some major negatives, I am thankful to have stayed here and would recommend it to others. Read less

Sorry for the late review. Business takes me all over the USA and a Little R & R at my beach condo for now. A three day Thanksgiving weekend here at EAU was just what we needed. We've stayed here before and this resort doesn't disappoint!!! Beautiful room, clean, well appointed, nice bed, relaxing decor over looking the beach and ocean. Nice porch/ balcony and privacy for that all body tan!!! We dined for breakfast every morning and dinner at Polpo and spent our Thanksgiving dinner at Angle where we had great service from KAI. Great heated pool, have to get your lounge chairs early. It gets taken up pretty quickly. Great pool side service. Our room Housekeeper was so attentive and so caring and she did give us great service, sorry I didn't get your name, but was happy to give her a nice tip. And so was ANDRE and WILL from Housekeeping who added a soft top to our king size bed because it was a new bed and was extra firm!!! Much Better!!! Ahhhhhh!!! Kudos to MICHAEL the Bellman who gave us great services with our luggage and bags and got us extra water and ice!!! Overall, great stay, awesome service, and staff, comfy room and great to come back to a great resort!!! We will be back!!!🏖️🏖️🏖️ Read less

We were there for about a week. The service and facility exceeded my expectations. It is a wonderful place to stay as the staff always addressed our needs in friendly and processional ways and management followed up after. I would definitely go back.
