Overall, we were happy with our stay. We were shown to our room by Eddie the bellroom. He was so helpful and a wealth of knowledge. We didn’t need a conceirge! Our room was large and clean. The beds were comfortable, and we had a small balcony that allowed us a view of the gulf. We are Gold status, which gave us a breakfast allowance that covered about 75% of the cost of breakfast and an addition $15 per person per day for food and drinks that covered the rest. The breakfast food was good. We prepaid for parking which was plentiful. The location was great. The beach is beautiful, and it is across the street from some of the best restaurants on the island, which is very convenient. When we called for towels, they were delivered quickly. The gym was adequately equipped and not crowded so that there was no wait for any equipment. We used the spa as well. While my husband states that his massage was very good, I was VERY disappointed by my facial. It started by being given a robe that was clean, but old/worn. While in the service, there was no music playing, and I was able to hear all the conversations in the hallway, as well as what sounded like the breakroom next door. Even though I chose the 80 minute treatment, she seemed rushed in here movements. She wore gloves throughout the treatment (which was new for me and I get a lot of facials), and the feeling was very distracting and not really pleasant. The material seems to prevent the products from being applied smoothly to my skin. I was not relaxed when it was finished. In addition, I actually had a pimple the next morning, which is a first for me. The spa is not recommended! Read less

No good. Will not stay here again. If I had to do it over again we would definitely stay at the Marriott a few doors down. Diamond membership means nothing, no extra anything for status. Inquired at the front desk about free breakfasts (we get it at our other places we have status), she said we were not eligible-really? Who is eligible then-those that pay full price and rarely stay at a Hilton?. Only stayed here to use some of our points. My husband normally stays at Hilton hotels 3 nights a week for the last 18 months for work. He immediately cancelled his Hilton stays in the future and moved them to a Marriott. Only thing we got were 2 "free" water bottles a day. Parking was a joke, food at their outdoor restaurant was terrible. The bar at the deck was nice and the ambiance at the outdoor restaurant was nice too. Gym was well stocked. Beach view was great with chairs and umbrellas available. Overall, we were really disappointed in the Hilton- especially in regards to "status" levels. We requested a late checkout and were told we could have until 12 noon- (BTW-Marriott automatically gives us a 4PM checkout and priority parking). Lesson learned- we are Titanium Elite with Marriott and should have just stayed there. Read less

First, I need to say I debated about staying at the nearby Marriott, but the price made me choose Hilton. I regret not paying for the Marriott. Second, the staff were great and did the best they could considering it was over the holiday. Our first room was overlooking the roof and giant air conditioners and I insisted they move us to the other side of the hotel, and the staff graciously accommodated us. In addition, no makeup mirror so when we made the room switch the gentleman in charge of getting us to our room brought me a mirror. The housekeeping staff and the dining room staff were all great. The food was actually pretty good and they had a huge Christmas Day spread. It was my husband and I and daughter and her husband for 4 days over Christmas. I was expecting more from a resort Hilton, it is nothing special. The rooms were fine, but the coffee maker was ridiculously small unusable cheap plastic. Everything was plastic, no decent cups or glasses and no amenities whatsoever in the bathroom or rooms. NOTHING. The bathroom towels were thin and scratchy. Be prepared to be 2 feet away from your next door neighbor if you choose to sit on the balcony. And you will only get a glimpse of the ocean. The outdoor dining and bar sitting area was dirty and we could not sit on the couches if you were wearing anything good. Food everywhere on the decking, tables and couches. It was disgusting. The pool and beach towels were paper thin, useless. I realized after day one we were in a 3rd rate hotel and kept apologizing to my family. The Christmas decorations were lame and cheap. The many poinsettias were dried out and dying all over the lobby. The biggest issue was I never saw a manager walking around the hotel checking in on guests. I sat in the lobby many times during the day to see if anyone would leave the office. They were obviously short staffed at the front desk checking people in but this is such a special time for guests, it should have been all hands on deck. If you have high expectations, this hotel will disappoint. Read less

The accommodations were pretty good. We booked through Priceline to get a better rate. If staying here, please be sure to budget for parking ($40/day), resort fee ($40/day), breakfast ($40 per person/day) and if you have Tesla or other EV, charging at $.56/kwh!!!

Overall the resort was fine but nothing to blow you away. The rooms are large and clean. Overall the facilities were also clean and nice looking. Staff was hit or miss on friendliness. There is only one pool and it gets crowded. And worst part is that there is no outside bathroom. So you have to go inside in your wet bathing suit. There are plenty of chairs around the pool (almost too many), so you can get a spot. The hotel needs to invest in new beach lounge chairs and towels as both were very old. Beach itself is very shelly, but overall still beautiful. The activities were very poor and unorganized. So don’t plan on these activities to fill your day. Food at the pool was above average but was a bit overpriced (but in line with other resorts). There is a shopping center across the street with some food options and a fun surf shop. Nearest grocery store is about a 5 minute drive away. Parking is extremely overpriced at $40ish a day. I wouldn’t be opposed to staying there again but I’m not rushing back! Read less
