The hotel

The cool little sister to the famous The Don CeSar Hotel, Beach House Suites gives you access to all the luxuries of the main hotel, with the sumptuousness of a more secluded all-suite beach retreat. Taking its inspiration from the sands, this seaside sanctuary offers beach life in abundance, with a shorefront pool, ‘sun and surf’ activities and beach games. Its poolside tiki bar provides sunbathing snacks, but you also get full access to the dining and drinking venues at The Don CeSar Hotel, including its ice cream shop; The Rowe Bar, with coastal cuisine and cocktails served on a deck over sand dunes; and Maritana Grille, voted one of USA Today’s 10 best restaurants.

Where is it

Sitting right on the white sands of St Pete Beach, the hotel runs a free shuttle service to The Don CeSar Hotel, a mile away, where you get full resort privileges. The resort is around 15 minutes from a number of attractions, including the Sundial shopping, dining and entertainment complex, the Dali Museum and Chihuly Collection galleries, Fort DeSoto Park, with its swimming areas, canoe trails and picnic spots, and the ferry terminal for the 400-acre Egmont Key State Park. Distance from Tampa International Airport: 29 miles.

This place is amazing! We vacation here every year when a group of girls from Canada. Super clean and comfortable, and a lovely ambiance. The bedroom bed is huge and comfortable with soft pillows and fluffy duvet. The shower is nice and big and products smell delicious. The pull out bed in the living room is even surprisingly comfy! You can use the pool and beach of course, but also have access to a shuttle to take you to the big Don.. it’s a short beach walk, though. So great to be able to have a quieter pool/beach day or hit the big Don for a busier and more party vibe! They will bend over backwards to help you with anything you need at the beachhouse suites. Amy is amazing, friendly and so helpful in the main office. She and McKay will make your stay great! Shuttle drivers Patrick, Justin and Raymond work so hard to drive guest between the properties and to local restaurants. You call and they come to get you as quickly as they can—with a smile and a helping hand. Great people. Alex at the beach is so friendly, and he gets you all set up comfortably. He’s our favourite hardworking guy. Even the housekeeping team (thank you sweet Merima) is warm and welcoming. Of course the main Don has amazing people to make your stay great as well. Shout out to Katie and Jackie serving poolside. They are quick with a smile and a drink, and are surprisingly happy for people running around in the hot sun to serve food and drinks to everyone else! We love those two. Pool attendants will set up your lounge chairs with towels and umbrellas, and check to make sure you’re taken care of—even Kevin in the kitchen will come out and say hi as he’s running by. You really are treated so well here. It’s not just the resort that’s amazing. It’s the people and how they make the entire experience so memorable. I hope they all get raises! The staff is very professional, caring and attentive the the guests needs. Made me feel at home!! Everything you need is near by and obviously the most important part the beach is only steps away Will come back again to stay here and do recommend it 100%

You can even ask for your “preferred housekeeping time. Rooms are fully stocked, laundry detergent and fabric softener. Perfect place for families. Downside is that the main hotel is still closed so all of the amenities- gym, restaurants, spa that your resort fee were not available. Plenty of restaurants are open, but some businesses are still closed due to damage. All in all, it was a great, laid-back trip! Read less

As we were some of the many locals who has been affected by hurricane Helene and unable to stay at our home on the beach at this time, we were able to have a VERY nice stay here.
