Everyone was so friendly & thoughtful! The outdoor bar/grill is up and running, the shrimp and beef tacos are DELICIOUS and the beers are cold (shout out to the bartender Chris!). McKay and Amy, at the front desk, were both super helpful and accommodating! Also, a shout out to Patrick for the help with my luggage.. what a nice guy and has also worked here for 22 years… which says a lot! I’ll be returning and having my family stay when they come in town to visit (once I’m back in my home). Thank you guys for everything and I’ll see you soon! A+++ Read less

Unfortunately we visited just after hurricane Milton so the outside of the building had been damaged and construction work was happening during the day with drilling and banging. We could accommodate this due to the devastation caused by the storm. The pool and hot tub were closed which we weren’t told about before we arrived. The suite was clean, recently renovated and had lots of room. The beds were super comfortable with clean, soft sheets and the bathroom was clean. We had a corner suite which is a bigger room but a very small balcony but enough room for two people to sit on. The pool bar was serving when we were here and the staff were super friendly. The beach access is directly by the pool and you’re straight on to the soft white sand. We collected amazing shells here. Other beaches access by car were closed due to the storm repairs going on up the coast but we could have walked up and down the beach both ways. Some great places to eat around, Crabby Bill’s and the Wharf being two good ones. Not a 5* resort like the Don CeSar hotel but a nice spot if you need the extra room. Would book again. Read less

I called on Nov. 4th to ask about beach chairs and umbrellas and I was told that hotel was CLOSED until Dec. 1. I asked why I wasn't notified and the woman on the phone said hotel was not responsible for communications with people who "booked through 3rd parties". The website states "TRAVEL ADVISORY We're excited to welcome guests back to Beach House Suites starting November 1st! Reserve your stay and discover our beautiful beachfront retreat." - This is not accurate, I was told closed until Dec. 1st, I canceled my reservation and booked another hotel in Sarasota. This lack of accountability is unacceptable. My advice is stay somewhere else. It doesnt matter how I booked this reservation they need to inform guests that the hotel is closed instead of posting false information on their website. Read less

3 star experience Suites are large and well appointed. The staff is very helpful. However they are understaffed and as such there is a failure of expectations. Minimal food and drink at the beach, no help to get to room, spotty maid service. The worst part was how dirty the suite was. Previous guest stuff under the bed and a thick layer of dust… Read more

Instead of listing to the sound of the ocean and the crashing of waves, I hear the sound of a grinding machine for hours as construction is being done, absolutely not happy about it.
