Awful stay at The Vinoy

Very disappointed in the accommodations and dining options offered at The Vinoy. After returning to the room after dinner, we found that the thermostat was broken and the heat in the room was stuck on and rumbled all night long.
Buyer beware if you choose to stay at this OLD AND TIRED hotel.

Some aspects were problematic - the AC in an adjoining room were noisy. They fixed it but it was still fairly noisy (Room 215/217).
There is a pool, gym, spa, tennis, golf and nice ballrooms. Worth a visit if you are in the area.

Johnnie at the valet was very professional. Hotel has had a beautiful facelift and looks stunning for the holidays. We loved the recognition for our ten year anniversary. Chocolate covered strawberries and personal concierge experience ahead of arrival. It was perfect

The hotel has improved greatly since my last stay. It has been remodeled and I was pretty happy with my stay except for the price.
Location is good, room was clean: no mold this time, bar area is nice, but maun restaurant is closed under renovation.
Would not return unless I didn't have a choice unless prices come down. Over $1k for a one…
