We stayed at Vinoy Hotel weekend after Thanksgiving. Place is first class. There’s valet parking only but you never wait more than 3-4mins. Checkin was about 2 mins long. Sorry for those who get room 766. This resort does not carry Coke products but, Room Service could get it but, that is basically all. Paul's Restaurant, a bartender went somewhere on the premises to get a 12 pack of Diet Coke for a resort guest but, on a separate evening, a different bartender told me to get it from room service. So much to do the weekend we were there. I would definitely come back to the Vinoy. (I'd bring my own Coke product.)😊 Everything is in walking distance. Read less

Rooms in the historic part of the hotel are the ones to choose. The vibe here is terrific. Pool area is beautiful with a view of Tampa Bay. We enjoyed a light lunch at the poolside restaurant. I had a very unusual bagel and lox breakfast at their Paul's Landing Restaurant. Our only disappointment was we were expecting at last one "grand old school" dining venue that would fit the property and there just isn't one here. I suppose the competition is too stiff with all the good restaurants nearby downtown. Read less

When seated on the “balcony” the only view was a hedge with swarming bees and some trash. The hotel exit door nearest our room was difficult to open and close. Once we forced the door open and shut, we were unable to use our pass key to reopen the door. The mechanism to open the door was inoperative. There appears to be an area to the side of the guest tower for pets to use as a relief area. There was a stand/post on the relief area that suggested there were relief bags to use to clean up after your pet. The stand had no bags. The restaurant, Paul’s Landing, had pieces of food under the table as well as small pieces of trash. Looking out over the trash and pieces of food while eating just wasn’t acceptable. Very disappointing. Our nightly fee of $500+ presented us with an expectation, and we looked forward to visiting the Vinoy. In actuality, the property shows significant signs of distress, unkept common areas and an average (at best) hotel stay. Read less

So super Beautiful! Great staff and amazing coffee and chocolate and everywhere smells sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo goood! Professionalism is on point and everyone is so friendly and makes you feel so cared for and special.
