This hotel was a complete disappointment. We arrived at hotel to celebrate my nephews birthday but was left disgusted and disappointed First the rooms were not clean and not all functional. The phone did not work, the safe did not work and there was a nail clipping on our bed. We had to ask to get placed into another room which was super inconvenient since we just unpacked. The room that we got replaced with had a faulty facet which did not allow warm water to flows it was either hot or cold. After a day of activities we came back to our rooms not being turned over. The accommodations for both my stay and the conference rooms was quite nice! Food was prompt and tasted great as well! Only feedback I would give is that there could be a few more outlets in the conference rooms. Is very convenient to have the restaurants at the hotel as well and LOVED that they actually provided water for the attendees in their… Read more

This property is consistent in its quality and reliability. The Hyatt Globalist benefits are reliable and consistent. This may seem to be a trivial matter, but it is not. Given the choice, I would rather have business-related gatherings at this property rather than some other ones. The buffet each day was great and it appeared they have an omelette station on weekends. Weekdays, you order your own and they bring it to you. The second pool and boardwalk were not running due to hurricane weather 3 months ago. I would not expect the boardwalk to be up and running for quite some time. Very little had been cleaned up or removed from its damage. With that said, the hotel was great, although the beds were doubles not queens. We played pickle ball twice and they have multiple courts. My daughter played basketball and they also gave use bike rental for free. You can bike down the bay or go the other way and watch the planes land. We visited the international plaza mall 3 times on our trip. it is was very busy, has many high end stores and is just a few minutes from the hotel. The hotel room had one issue that kept coming up which was no vent in the bathroom. We had issues with water condensation after showering due to this. I am very surprised the hotel does not offer shuttle service to the airport given how close it is. The bar area was nice with several TV's and offered food and snacks late until 11:00pm. Pool open was pretty small but my daughter was happy to swim in it in December regardless. We ordered food at the bar inside and took it outside. I think the outdoor bar is only open on weekends in the winter. We did not see it open while there. Parking was $20 for self and $35 for valet. The self parking has very easy access. This hotel was great value at a category 4 with hyatt and we will definitely return again at some point. Read less

The shower tile was cracked, there were scuff marks on the walls, mold inside the ice bucket, and a cheap looking shower mat inside the shower stall. Otherwise, the room was nice enough, including a very comfortable bed and linens. Unfortunately due to the hurricanes this past season the boardwalk was destroyed and the hotel has yet to begin renovations. This also damaged the pool/beach area by Oystercatchers. Without these amenities, there is very little to do at this hotel besides drink and eat, which I hope they can address soon. Read less
