Ready for a quick meal and a bit of rest I popped down to the lobby bar and OMG, it made my Trip. I cannot sing the praises of Edwin Enough! He made me feel right at home, like I’d been visiting here every week for years. Thank you Edwin for your sparkling personality, hospitality and outstanding service. I had a fantastic burger and a lovely glass of wine. This will be my stop through the next time I’m crossing through Miami.

I don’t normally leave reviews but this was a very frustrating hotel experience. On the day I arrived, I called to confirm their shuttle hours (it is not listed anywhere on their website) maybe 20 times. No answer, no option to leave a call back number or message. I got in at 10:30 PM and waited for the shuttle for 30 minutes before giving up and calling an uber. Turns out that the last shuttle leaves the airport at 10:30, but again there was no way for me to know this. At check- in I mentioned the phone issue and I was given some lame excuse about shift change. When I got to my room, the bed was made but the pillows were piled up on the couch with no pillow cases, so I had to go ask for those. The checkout time listed on my reservation and their website was contradictory— shouldn't this be clearer? On the day of checkout, I was waiting for the airport shuttle and the driver gets out and says we won’t leave for another 30 minutes since he needs to take a break and the other driver is sick today. Not the driver’s fault I don’t blame him, but someone should have warned me there were delays because I was way more crunched on time trying to make my flight. Super frustrating experience. The room and amenities were comfortable and clean, but the hotel staff needs to work on communication.

In town for a show at the MACC. Bar staff is to notch! Edwin (and others) were attentive and as friendly as can be. I’m here at least once a year. And the level of service at the bar never disappoints. It’s always great to see these familiar faces behind the bar when I return!
