We had an issue through Expedia with booking this resort. The dates were off by a day when submitted. So I contacted Expedia immediately (in minutes) Expedia said it was Margarittavilles issue and they had to approve a refund and Margarittaville pointed the finger at Expedia. We had an issue through Expedia with booking this resort. The dates were off by a day when submitted. So I contacted Expedia immediately (in minutes) Expedia said it was Margarittavilles issue and they had to approve a refund and Margarittaville pointed the finger at Expedia. It’s like they work together to scam you out of your money. I was on hold multiple times with the resort for over 50 minutes at a time and then they transferred me to a voicemail box that was completely full and hung up on me. The funny thing is we have another vacation coming up and we were going to book Margarittaville. Now I won’t ever go to a Margarittaville. Just on the principle that you are on hold for so long. I was hoping that they would work something out with me because of the situation. Bye hard earned money. Read less

For the price point this place is terrible. Massive lines at check in all the time. Expect to wait at least an hour to check in. Pools are chaos as there is no staff working. And don't expect to get a good night sleep with all the rowdies yelling and screaming throughout the night. Don't go with your family.

We are currently staying at Margaritaville Orlando and, at this point, are unlikely to ever return. Employees are VERY friendly but the resort is INSANELY understaffed. Waiting for beverages or food brought to your $160/day cabana (with filthy drapes and torn off ties so they can’t even be closed)? Give up and get your own. We had to bus our own Cabana tables, as we never saw the staff in the pool area again. One of the two pool bars closed in the afternoon so the line at the remaining bar took over an HOUR. Everything here is slow. And not “island time, relax and chill slow”. It’s sloth, snail paced slow. S-L-O-O-O-O-W. One of the bathroom sinks in our room was completely clogged upon our arrival, totally unusable. Neither of the hot water faucets work - they baaaarely trickle and never do get warm. I had to call the front desk ELEVEN times in 2 hours JUST to reach anyone. Needed the bathroom faucets and sink fixed, and additional hangers. Sinks are STILL not fixed, extra hangers never arrived, despite asking for them three times. The rooms are fine, good sized, nicely decorated, nothing special. There are only 3 shallow drawers per room, so if you’re vacationing with your spouse and 2 teenagers, you’ll be living out of your suitcases the entire time. HUGE miss by the resort. No proper drawers and only 6 hangers for the closet. 1 sad little bathrobe. Ridiculous. The hotel rates are cheap ($290/night during Spring Break) and you’ll certainly get what you pay for. *Everything is clean *Service is AWFUL *Lobby is wonderful *Beds are very comfortable *Food is average *Location is great *WiFi is TERRIBLE Front desk frequently had only one person working it and a loooong line of people waiting for service. Photo uploaded tells the entire story of our experience so far. We’ll stay at a nicer resort when we return in a few months. We paid to stay at your resort 3/11 -3/15. My daughter put the reservation on her credit card. We arrived at the resort and were told my daughter needed to be 25 to book the reservation… Read more
We had a horrible experience dealing with VSTAYS/ Ace Hospitality. My daughter and I planned a trip to R&R. We arrived at the resort for our Reservation on 3/11. We paid to stay at your resort 3/11 -3/15. My daughter put the reservation on her credit card. We arrived at the resort and were told my daughter needed to be 25 to book the reservation she is 22 so they cancel our reservation. I however am a Middle Aged adult with her. We said change the name to my name. The response we received “sorry can’t do that” ok we will rebook the reservation “ we don’t accept same day bookings” oh and also “it will take 3-5 days for your money to be refunded.” So we were stranded in Florida, told the day of we have no place to stay and my daughter has knee injury and was in wheel chair. It would have helped if the Vstays staff person was even the least bit kind to us but she was completely rude. Worst I have ever been treated. Needless to say after hours of distress we managed to make alternative plans and for a couple days through the other booking venue Rentyl here and then stayed at a Disney resort. I have reached out several times and have not received a response from their organization. I issued a complaint with the BBB. Their organization could have easily come to a reasonable resolution that day but instead they created a hardship and additional expense for us. They preferred to lose a rental for those days as opposed to resolving the issue. I find their customer service to be appalling. Read less

The resort itself is beautiful. Very, very expensive, but beautiful. The average drink is $15. The shops, restaurants and stores are great. Great property to get away and just chill.
