There are far too many facilities at this marvellous 1,500-acre resort to detail here. The swimming pool is the kind that has kids gasping with wonder - waterfalls, grottos, whirlpools and a 124-ft long water slide tower, as well as a new water jet splash zone and rock climbing areas for kids, creates an aqueous wonderland. On the lake, you can practice kayaking, canoeing, or just simply pedal away toward the sunset. There is even a white sand beach for those waiting to sit back and relax, and 45 holes of top golf, with a pitch 'n' putt for non-golfers to enjoy. There are some great restaurants and bars; the pool bar, On the Rock, is located by Lake Windsong, offering views of the lake and the pool, four 60" TVs, a full service bar and food service options. Leave everything behind to enjoy the happiest of hours under palm tree canopies and moon-drenched evening skies at Four Flamingos, a Richard Blais Florida Kitchen that provides an immersive dining and drinking experience reminiscent of a dreamy, tropical oasis. Be one of the first to enjoy their newest recreational features: New Water slide, Water Jet Splash zone, rock climbing for kids and the pool bar!

Beautiful grounds, except for the roof of the convention center is an eye sore. There were many things to do at the hotel if you need a rest day from the parks. The property lost a star because of the convention roof top and an inconsistency with housekeeping. Even though I tipped well. my room was not taken care of like I would expect from a Hyatt property. The people I was traveling with were in another wing and parley gave a tip, had good housekeeping service.

Gorgeous Grand Cypress Resort

The property was amazing- beautiful landscaping and pools. We visited when it was decorated for Christmas- just lovely. It’s 10-15 mins to Disney Hollywood Studios. Don’t pass up a stay at the Grand Cypress!

Absolutely amazing time at the Grand Cypress! We went with our children and they had SO many activities! Even though it was cold to swim, we still stayed entertained all day! The lakehouse breakfast was amazing and the staff was so friendly. Brian at the Lakehouse bar was a highlight of our trip as well! I highly recommend this hotel!
Would stay again

Staff was friendly and helpful. Was able to check in early. Digital key worked perfectly. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet at night. There was some work being done outside during the day.
Shuttle service to the parks was not as convenient as I had hoped.

The beach/lake, pool and hot tub looked lovely but it was too cold during our visit to use it (you do have to walk outside to get there, even though one of the pools is heated). There was a water slide, several paddle boats, kayaks and paddle bike as well as lounge chairs on the beach. And a golf course! So much to do.
Overall, I would stay here again.

A lovely hotel with excellent facilities for the whole family including the small market, laundry and activities including cycling and climbing. The lake house restaurant was also lovely for breakfast and dinner. The lounge bar could perhaps have had a slightly more extensive menu but was a nice spot for an informal bite to eat. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. Main criticism would be some of the prices being a little excessive. Could easily spend $100 on a few items from the market or a round of drinks for 4 people. The shuttle buses to the parks were also useful but limited as only 1-2 times available per day.
