Star rating

The hotel

At Disney’s All-Star Resorts, larger-than-life sports, music and movie icons surround the rooms as Disney's quality and unique styling is everywhere you look. All three hotels are situated close to the Theme Parks, providing a holiday home for rest and relaxation right in the heart of the action. The stage is set at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort, as massive figures from your favourite Disney movies take a starring role— from the dotted pups of 101 Dalmations to the playful toys of Andy’s Room. The expansive main pool is inspired by Disney's Fantasia, but if you're looking for something a bit more relaxing - the hockey rink styled pool inspired by The Mighty Ducks film series might be your thing. And the theme continues in the food court as you find yourself in what resembles a grand movie theatre lobby with endless choices to curb your hunger. If being surrounded by Disney movies isn't enough, enjoy watching these films under the stars at night along with campfire activities for all the family to enjoy - a magical way to end the day.

This hotel is a great place to stay for the budget friendly in mind, for our whistle stop tour of Disney it was perfect (for the 4 nights) if I was to stay longer it may not be but only due to lack of restaurants/bars on offer in the resort. The kids LOVED the grounds and the large statues around the venue. The food in the restaurant was ok. we only used breakfast once, You can order in Uber Eats which we did most of the time have a 3YO and 7MO The rooms where clean and comfortable and it was great one of the beds could get stowed away each day which have us lots of room, the TV was good with lots of channels to keep the kids entertained. The transport was reliable and friendly and only took about 15 mins to MK, the other parks where all closer and took less time. We loved our first trip to Disney and we will return on day for sure! Overall really impressed with the 3* resort Read less

Going into this I knew it was a value resort and had my expectations as such. The room was updated, but not in great shape. Stayed at pop century in 2023 and that room was in better shape, cleaner and had a better bathroom layout. The food at All Star Movies was really disappointing compared to everywhere else on property. On a positive note the customer service and the staff I interacted with were top notch as always for Disney and the bus service to the parks was efficient and timely. If I was doing a value resort I'd say Pop Century is worth the upcharge. Read less

The grounds and communal areas were spotless. Our room; whilst not the most salubrious was functional and again spotlessly clean. Housekeeping came every other day and that was plenty. The quick service eateries were really good, and the pool bar was great as well. I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you are happy with more basic amenities, great service and a fun friendly environment all around. Read less
