We a great stay at Carribean Beach over the summer. We had a fifth sleeper room in the Aruba building right next to the skyliner stop. Location was so convenient for transportation with both the skyliner and bus stop a few mins from our room.
We also really enjoyed the amenities including the drink refill station in our building. The pool was amazing we spent the first few hours we were there before our room was ready swimming and relaxing at the pool my boys had a blast on the water slides we also got a large cheese pizza at the main restaurant in the lobby and it was affordable and really tasty.
Room was really clean and comfortable even for a family of five. Whenever we needed anything it only took a quick phone call to housekeeping and they brought it over super quick.
The grounds were beautiful my son really enjoyed laying on the hammocks on the beach area and I just loved the plant life throughout the property . We will 100 percent come to stay here again on our next Disney world trip.

Depressing Room

The room we stayed in was not updated and looked like the same decor from when we stayed there in the ‘90’s when my kids were little. There was also a weird moldy smell. We booked it for the proximity to skyliner. We’ve stayed at many Disney resorts over the years and this room was the worse. Piece of advice make sure you ask for updated room when…

Transportation needs to get better

We traveled with two scooters and it was difficult. We had two ground floor rooms that connected (which was fabulous). Our building was in Aruba. Disney has got to do better with their transportation. To get to our bus stop was a good quarter mile and the busses can get full. Taking an uber isn’t an option with mobility scooters. We were…

We were only there a few days and the transportation was not good. We were able to ride the skyliner and that was fast and so great. But it just serviced Epcot and Disney studio. The whole bus thing was frustrating. But we don’t like lines or buses. We did the VIP experience one day, and they picked us up at the lobby. So there again, a problem getting the scooters over to their lobby. Universal picked us up at our building but Disney made us go to the lobby (quite a distance from our building).

DANGEROUS TODDLER BED!
Oct 26, 2024Donna SAthens, Georgia
Nice room and resort but pull down toddler bed is DANGEROUS! We are a retired couple, and I pulled opened the cabinet thinking it might be storage when we checked in. The bed came down hard, almost knocking me over. The resort engineer came out and looked at it and said it has hydraulics. Yes, it has hydraulics, but they only kick in after the…

The bed came down hard, almost knocking me over. The resort engineer came out and looked at it and said it has hydraulics. Yes, it has hydraulics, but they only kick in after the bed has come down a foot (and come down hard). If a small child is standing on the bench and messing with it, it could be really bad. I reported it but I don't think I made much of an impression. I wouldn't stay here if you have small children, although the bed is cute.

Better than I was expecting...

Our stay at CBR was very nice. We were in building 35 in the Trinidad section in a 5th sleeper Under the Sea themed room. The room was light, fresh, updated and themed so nice. I highly recommend the Trinidad section- it is close to the skyliner and not too far of a walk to Port Royale in our opinion (there is an internal bus if you'd rather…

I highly recommend the Trinidad section- it is close to the skyliner and not too far of a walk to Port Royale in our opinion (there is an internal bus if you'd rather use that). Another perk to Trinidad is Spyglass Grill. There is a refillable mug station and good food options within a short distance from any Trinidad building.
The lobby at CBR is very nice, well decorated and welcoming. The feature pool is fun for the whole family with two small water slides, there is a dedicated pool area for children under 48 inches and there is a hot tub also.
The grounds at CBR are beautiful and well maintained. It is a lovely resort. The buildings were freshly painted and the overall resort felt clean and well maintained.
