Only some of the villas have a nice beach; negative experience with providing the requested villa; completely bad booking system in ala carte restaurants; selection of drinks in bars does not match the drink lists. Vaclav, Czech Republic

From the welcome wave to the wave goodbye, our stay was truly awesome. All the staff were friendly and helpful, a special shout out to Waseem who looked after our room, nothing was too much trouble for him and our room was always clean and tidy. We stayed in a water villa (without the plunge pool), truly delightful. The 3 al a carte restaurants are great, Bhattuta was our favourite, but to be honest, they were all good. The buffet restaurant was also good offering plenty of variety, added to the cafe and bar menu, you are not short of a choice. The drinks variety was excellent too. Tip, restaurants are normally booked via the App when you arrive, I simply emailed direct and all restaurants were booked for me in advance. The resort was pretty much at full capacity, however there still seemed to be enough room not to feel overcrowded. There was a nice mix of families and couples. We met both Managers who were very engaging and informative and the welcome drinks party gave us the opportunity to meet other guests. We enjoyed the complimentary boat trips, snorkelling and easily seen sea life all around. There is enough going on at this resort to keep up the interest but not be overwhelming, a combination of relaxation and entertainment. We did feel truly looked after by everyone, to make our holiday memorable. Best bit for us too, we have made some new forever friends that we have already agreed to meet up again with. In essence, you can't go wrong with choosing Dhigali, you won't be disappointed. Read less

From the minute we arrived at Male airport we have been welcomed and really looked after. There's two parts to our stay..the beautiful atoll, with powder white sand, crystal clear sea and abundance of tropical fish, plants and birds...the other is the service, delicious food and friendly, helpful staff...all in all PARADISE @

We had the privilege of staying on this Island for 7 nights and cannot praise it enough. From the moment we arrived in Male airport, the Dhigali staff were waiting to assist our transfer. The seaplane took 45 minutes and was a very smooth flight. The check in was quick with a glass of fizz & a greeting from the general manager. Our over water villa was well equipped, clean and spacious. The water is so clear, with many amazing fish swimming around. Snorkelling equipment is available to use & a must to see the reef surrounding Dhigali. The main pool is a good size with lots of sun beds & umbrellas. The bar staff are very attentive, bringing round cold towels & fruit juice daily. There are also sun beds on the beach in front of the pool with a bar on the beach. There are so many different options for food- the buffet restaurant Capers serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and has a great range of food. Breakfast has an omelette , egg & crepe station. The staff happily make anything you want. Lunch has a fresh fish station to allow you to choose how your tuna is cooked. This is also available at dinner with an additional pasta station. The other restaurants are Jade, Battuta & Faru which you need to book either on the app or with the agent next to the lounge. We ate in all of them & the food was amazing- my favourite was Faru with a table on the beach and very attentive staff. My favourite place was the beach at Haali where you sit on beanbags watching the most stunning sunsets. It’s very popular as from 5-7pm there is often the resident saxophonist playing or the resident DJ playing chill music. The staff at Haali are very attentive and friendly. There’s a pizzeria near Haali and you can order pizza to eat while sitting on the beach. The premium all inclusive is excellent as most wines, fizz & spirits are included. Also included are a 45 minute glass bottom boat trip around the island and the choice of either a sunset cruise or dolphin cruise (both are 2 hours long)& 1hr kayak/paddle board session. The photos don’t do this beautiful island justice . Read less
