This island retreat is amazing, the food is outstanding, the staff are always at hand to assist with anything. Madhava, working at the Sceanic Bar/Restaurant is an absolute gent, nothing too much trouble, always had a smile on his face and remembered what drinks we were ordering!! I have nothing negative to say about this island resort, it is so relaxing, pack light, I took 2 pairs of flipflops and wore only 1, as mostly I walked barefoot. If you want peace and tranquility this is the place to be, however, if you like to be "on the go" all day then choose somewhere else as this place is so very laid back. Being on the beach and only hearing the waves on the breakwater was idyllic, (no thumping music playing). If you like sunbathing, swimming/snorkelling, reading, chilling out then 100% this is the place for you. We spent 10 days here and have returned home fully relaxed and chilled. Read less

Inside the wall, there is a white sand beach, too. If you avail of their All-inclusive package, this means that you eat daily 3 buffet meals, 3 snacks, and unlimited drinks (including mocktails and the non-alcoholic drinks in the room's refrigerator). The have an infinity pool where you can dip and wait for the magnificent sunset. The night sky is amazingly filled with stars. The staff ( Jesica, Saddam.and Chandana (bar), Joy and Gulmi (front desk), Shaaluh (waiter at poolside restaurant), and Saddam (housekeeping) were really welcoming and helpful. The rest of the staff still needs to learn to smile more and be more courteous though, specially the bearded well-built guy (I won't mention his name but he is not the chubby one) that mans the diveshop who was incredibly rude with his "are you sure you can pay?" and "do not touch that paper" -type-of-attitude but was polite and accommodating to the caucasians. So if you are a Filipino, better to bring your own snorkeling gear so you won't need to encounter him :) Read less
