Where is it
Located on the private island of Maafushi, which is part of Dhaalu Atoll, and is connected to neighbouring Riu Palace Maldivas by walkway. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 40 minutes by seaplane (remember to pack light for the seaplane transfer as luggage allowance is 20kg plus 5kg hand luggage, per person).

Thanks to Hamdhun from RIU, I've found a better resort in the Maldives.

The island and resort is stunning, everywhere is spotlessly clean, the food is great and the staff are amazing. Particular mention to Thaney and his team in the restaurant, and Suppon at the pool bar. Both made our holiday so much better and were a great laugh. By the end of the holiday we classed them as friends and looked forward to seeing them each day.
