Comfy beds and pillows. Air con and fans keep the room cool and have lovely views of the beach and lagoon. The gardens are lovely to walk through and the smell at night is exotic. Golf buggies with driver (all excellent) are available if walking is a problem. A cocktail at sunset, in Kandu bar overlooking the lagoon, with the fruit bats coming home to roost is very interesting. There are 7 restaurants to cater for all tastes if you chose bed and breakfast. Ahmed and team manage Le cafe. Excellent service and a variety of delicious food. Anwar and team provide a dining experience in the Thila restaurant. Set on decking right on the lagoon. You can watch the fish while you dine. Ali Farooq is always available for guests questions or problems. “There is never a problem that can’t be solved”. Kurumba is only a 10 minute boat ride from airport , so there can be some noise from planes.
We’ve holidayed in Kurumba every year for the last 20 years. So our experiences there are our recommendation.
