Everything is very good, the water villa is perfect, the diving is average. The food is acceptable, some of it is really delicious. The Grill restaurant is excellent. The staff is very nice and friendly. Buggy service is only available during meal times. This is not very convenient. Overall a good resort.

If you're looking for a relaxed, kick-back resort in the Maldives, OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO is an excellent choice. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome, and their hospitality was truly outstanding. A special shoutout to Aya, Depa, and Mamoon, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. We stayed in the Sunset Water Villa (number 718, third from the end), and it was absolutely perfect for us. The villa offered complete privacy, and if you’re a sun lover, this is the spot for you—sun all day long! We spent our mornings at the adult pool until lunchtime, then relaxed on the deck of our villa in the afternoons. The drinks were never an issue; the housekeeping team was always happy to assist with anything we needed. While the Sunset Water Villas were ideal for us, we did take a look at the Beach Villas and felt they lacked the privacy and sand space we were looking for. If you’re considering between the two, we’d highly recommend the water villas for a more secluded and luxurious experience. not the Lagoon Villas. The buffet was good, with a wide variety of options, though we felt lunch could have been slightly more varied. That said, the quality was consistently high, and we never left hungry. We also tried both à la carte venues during our stay. The Indian restaurant, unfortunately, was a bit of a letdown—service was slow, and the food didn’t quite meet our expectations. On the other hand, the Grill was fantastic, with excellent service and delicious food that left us completely satisfied. Would we return to OBLU NATURE Helengeli? Absolutely! The combination of stunning surroundings, exceptional service, and a laid-back atmosphere made for an unforgettable holiday. Alain, Manas, and the entire team truly made our stay special. That said, with so many islands to explore in the Maldives, we might venture elsewhere next time. However, if you’ve never been to the Maldives, this resort is a fantastic place to start. We stayed in an overwater villa with pool which was amazing. The house reef is brilliant and you can see lots of fish; rays and sharks. His birthday and valentine bed decorations were a special touch. The house reef is exceptional. We snorkelled every day and saw turtles, rays, sharks, moray eal and our highlight was an octopus. Thank you to Wasim, one of the lifeguards on the sunset jetty. His knowledge and friendliness made us feel very safe. The lifeguards do keep a close watch but we sadly witnessed some people being reckless and walking across the shallow coral. Perhaps more signage on how to access and exit the reef would make this crystal clear and protect the coral. The quality of food in the SPICE restaurant was very good, although we did notice a little less variety than our previous visit last year. The exception was Valentines Night which was amazing. Our visit to RAGU ROUTE was exceptional . The quality of food coked by Rajat and team and service from Ellie and Anoof was first class. The setting at THE GRILL was great for a birthday meal and the added treat of a birthday cake was appreciated. Very good service from Navi. We enjoyed our visits to the bar and friendly banter with Dulan, Wita, Rittu and team. It was good to see that table service has been introduced since our last visit. Don’t miss the Friday night Boduberu show. The complimentary fishing trip and sunset cruise were both enjoyable. Also a shout out to boat transfer teams. Special mention to the following who made our visit extra special: SPICE- Nick, Zaama, Simpa, Dipa, Ajay, Hussain and Assistant Chef Satheeh MANAGEMENT- Manas, Ali, Varun, Lai,Salaam.
