All the restaurants were really nice, but we love Sangu the most because of the friendly staff (Kevin), the food quality and the live performance, the overall dining experience was great! One of the staff, Asru, was really good at sand art and he decorated the table for our dinner which made that night even more special for us. The spa treatments were great as well. The spa therapists (Koming and Yana) are friendly and skillful. We attended a sound therapy session where the instructor was really patient and willing to share his knowledge to us after the class.
Overall we highly recommend Ozen Bolifushi!!

Husband and I arrived close to noon time at the Male airport. After clearing customs, we were ushered to the Ozen lounge with our luggages taken care of. Snacks and drinks were plenty, and we could even get our local SIM card done at the lounge! As the husband wanted to purchase some stuffs including medications for motion sickness, the lounge staff went the extra mile and accompanied my husband. Such great service :))
After a short wait, we were led to the pier where the Ozen catamaran awaits. It was luxurious, clean, and importantly sturdy despite the waves. It was a vast difference compared to speedboats from other resorts. Onboard the catamaran, the staff explained about safety procedures, a quick orientation, and even gave us an introduction of the country and resort. Truly knowledgeable!
Once we arrived at the resort after approximately 35 minutes, we were warmly greeted with a welcome ceremony. With a coconut each in hand, we were led by our butler Anees to the buggy. After a quick tour round the island, we were brought to Vista Del Mar for lunch. After lunch, Anees brought us to our overwater villa and our true experience started.
Our room was clean, fairly well maintained (understandably as overwater villas tend to get lots of damage and erosion from wind and the sea), and well equipped. The minibar was really generous with lots of soft drinks and beer, there were lots of bottled water for us - all replenished daily :D The infinity pool was clean, the villa slide was well maintained as well. We were even greeted with a nice floral design on our bed and a bottle of champagne to celebrate our honeymoon here in the Maldives.
Food options were aplenty. Anees helped us with dinner reservations for all 3 nights, and we're free to decide where we want to go for other meals. All the restaurants where we had our meals were fantastic. We especially loved Saffron, which served Indian cuisine. The dishes and the flavours were spectacular!
What made our stay here most memorable were the staffs. Every single staff we met during our stay were courteous, patient, friendly, and displayed the highest level of professionalism. We would like to specially name a few:
1. Our butler, Anees. Anees has been really helpful in every single way. He is responsive whenever we had enquiries, and goes the extra mile to ensure we have the best experiences during our stay. My husband and I are introverts, so we were really glad that we were matched with Anees as our butler :D
2. Arjun is truly a gem. We first met him during our first breakfast at Vista Del Mar. Not only did he take orders from various guests, he always lends a helping hand when he observed a guest needing help. He remembers us by our names, and would always go the extra mile to ensure all guests at VDM are well taken care of. During our dinner at Saffron, Arjun elevated our experience by sharing the origins of the food served etc.
3. Maash is friendly, polite and always addresses us by our names. She remembers all the little details, and would always lead us to our favourite seats at VDM.
3. Reeman is a really hardworking man. He service with a smile, and would always ensure our tables are cleared promptly to make space for more food :D
Now that our honeymoon is over, my husband and I are thinking of returning during our anniversary :p
