The hotel

The first all-inclusive Pullman resort has landed and they have pulled out all the stops to create the ultimate beach holiday in paradise. Located on the picturesque island of Maamutaa and spanning over 19 hectares, Pullman is bursting with activities, excursions, and wellness programmes, meaning you will always have something to do, and seeing as it's all covered in their generous all-inclusive package you have the freedom to indulge without worrying about extra costs. Serving up their take on ‘eatertainment’ you can also enjoy unlimited dining and drinks across its six restaurants and bars, each offering diverse cuisine and gourmet options. Though luxurious and tranquil, Pullman Maldives is also family-friendly, offering a kids' club with supervised activities and a kids pool with waterslides, plus there's Skillz the resorts’ teens only area with snooker and a golf simulator. Where is it

In the southern part of the Maldives, on a private island called Maamutaa. Access is via a 55-minute direct flight (90 minutes indirect) from the capital, Malé, to Kooddoo Airport, followed by a short 15 minute speedboat ride to the resort.

Hotel information

122 villas. All with modern amenities including HD TV, WiFi, tea/coffee-making facilities, safe, mini-bar (replenished daily), indoor and outdoor showers. Beach Villas offer 200 sqm of living space and direct access to the sandy beach via a secluded pathway, indoor-outdoor bath area with two showers and tub. Villas have 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

All Inclusive includes: breakfast at Mélange and Sol Rising. Lunch at Mélange and Souk Oven. Dinner at Mélange, Phat Chameleon and Souk Oven. Snacks at The HUB. Complimentary Shisha at Saffron Affair. High Tea and selection of canapés and sweets from Sol Rising. In-villa mini-bar (replenished twice per day, on request, with soft drinks, bottled juice, liquor, beer, wine, chocolate and snacks).

Room upgrades

Spacious and ideal for families, Family Beach Villas are 270sqm and has an outdoor living area and 1 king-size bed plus a separate room with a bunk bed. Family Beach Pool Villas are also available.

Beach Pool Villas are 240 sqm with an outdoor living room, terrace area and private pool. Villas have 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Two-bedroom Beach Pool Villas offer 580 sqm of space, with two bedrooms separated by a living room, each has it’s own bathroom.

Ocean Villas are built over the lagoon with direct access to the water below. These villas are 160sqm and have an open air living space and a netted hammock over the water. Villas have 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults. Ocean Pool Villas are also available.

Sunset Ocean Pool Villas are similar to Ocean Pool Villas but with sunset views.

Ocean Pool Suites offer 185 sqm of space and features an open cabana with loungers, private pool, illuminated glass window in the floor, living room and bedroom with 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

For total seclusion the Two-bedroom Ocean Pool Villas offer 440 sqm of space, including two bedrooms separated by a living room. The master bedroom with 1king-size bed, the second bedroom with twin beds, each with separate bathrooms.

The Aqua Villa is a two-level villa with all the amenities of an Ocean Villa plus an exclusive pool facing East (perfect to watch the sunrise), open-air bathroom, a submerged master bedroom plus an overwater bedroom, sleeping maximum 2 adults.

Ok so to summarize, it was the best vacation I could have asked for. We spent our honeymoon there and it was perfect all around. Firstly, the welcome reception was lovely and once we did a tour around the hotel, we hot checked in in our villa so no need to go to the reception. Then it was just pure bliss, the food and drinks are all top level and they really don't spare anything. Often times you get truffle, caviar or whatever luxury food comes to your mind. All restaurants serve enough meals to not be satisfied even after a week. The staff was exceptional during our whole stay and they really try to cater to your needs. All the time smiling asking you how are you if you need anything, it was really pleasant. At the same time they also respected your privacy and so it was not forced at all, just overall an exceptional experience. We stayed in the beach villa. The rooms were lovely, you get a lot of privacy in the villas, which are also quite big on their own. The outside bathroom is stunning, the patio is perfect to just relax at, like really the rooms were perfect. The swimming was lovely, there are some parts with seagrass, but about half of the resort has an absolutely clear water and let me tell that the marine life was amazing. We went snorkelling a couple of times with my wife close to the coral reef and we saw all sorts of fish (basically all of the finding Nemo movies fish), we saw stingrays, turtles and even sharks - don't worry they were small enough though😁. So to give some summary, it was the best vacation we have ever been to and we really are hoping to come back here as soon as we can, because I don't think you can have a better vacation than this. If you are deciding between some resorts, just stop and book the pullman, trust me its worth it😁. Read less

Stunning island where everything is thoughtfully catered for. The attention to detail is above and beyond. The food has been outstanding, the drinks are all branded with cocktails galore, champagne, quality wine list and all served by the most lovely staff, each and everyone of them have genuine smiles and really go out of their way to make your holiday a trip of a lifetime. The spa treatments are so relaxing and the massage I had done by Janna was just what I needed to top off the most wonderful holiday. The rooms are amazing, with so much space and everything you could possibly need from coffee machines and a large range of teas to the snacks and mini bar which is replenished daily. The beds are huge and really comfy and to wake up the sound of the ocean in the morning is fabulous. Our over water villa had indoor and outdoor showers, his and hers sink areas and a huge bath, there is a massive deck with sunbeds, another shower, a netting hammock area and outdoor sofa under a pergola. Snorkelling on the house reef was stunning, we saw turtles, rays, sharks and more fish than you could begin to imagine. I can’t recommend this island highly enough to anyone coming to the Maldives for their dream getaway. Read less

Relaxing experience and well worth the upgrade to a deep tissue and 60 mins. Wonderful way to end our vacation. Highly recommend Mara and Rahal. They were both professional and got into the deep knots we both had from stress. We would come back again and enjoy.
