Located 118km northwest of Malé in Baa Atoll. Transfer time from Malé International Airport: 20-minute fixed wing domestic flight to Dharavandhoo Island followed by a 10-minute speedboat transfer to Royal Island.
Hotel information
148 classically designed Beach Villas. All with terrace, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, satellite TV, complimentary WiFi, telephone, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini-bar*, hairdryer, and safe, bathrobes and slippers, sleeping maximum 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child.
All Inclusive option: includes breakfast lunch and dinner in the main restaurant and afternoon tea and snacks at the pool terrace. Drinks include bottled water, tea and coffee, canned or bottled soft drinks and juice. House wine, beer and selected house brand spirits (gin, vodka, rum, arrack, brandy & whiskey) plus selected cocktails, from the main bar and pool terrace, from 10:00am–1:00am. Mini-bar with two small coca colas and two canned fruit juices, replenished once per day (all other items at a charge). Sports including snorkelling equipment, dingy sailing and canoeing. One night-fishing excursion per guest per stay, when staying 6 nights or more.
Please note: Champagne and premium spirits are available at an extra charge.
Premium all inclusive: includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at the main restaurant. Guests can also select one a la carte meal per day at the pool terrace or Raabondhi restaurant. Afternoon tea, a wide range of wines, beers and premium brand spirits, cocktails, tea & coffee, soft drinks and bottled water throughout the day. Mini-bar (replenished once daily) and a selection of land and water sports such as badminton, tennis, snorkelling, windsurfing and stand up paddle boarding. $100 credit per person per stay can be used towards either the spa or diving.
Maakanaa Restaurant (buffet, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner) and Raabondhi Restaurant (à la carte specialty seafood cuisine, open for lunch and dinner). 3 bars including Boli Bar (lounge and fun pub) and Pool Bar.

For honeymoon couples they will treat you very well. Sunset restaurant best spot for special occasions
Hotel spa 5* stayed all inclusive definitely worth it. Food choices were good service was excellent. Every night had life music and some entertainment. Several sport activities Room service was great very clean mini houses were well organized with private terrace. We loved every moment of our stay. Thank you for all the Royal stuff who made our holiday remarkable.

ok so the staff, minny our main contact whilst we were there this lady is amazing she took us in when we arrived made sure we had all we needed to know and was entirely at hand at any time for any help/questions etc.
she would meet with us breifly daily to check that everything was ok for us.
helped me with some mosquito bite issues!!
this lady is a true find to have the pleasure as your contact for your stay.
the restaurant staff, we had mirali as our waiter for the duration, he is very attentive with plenty of attention to detail with your drinks what you would like and the right time to bring, offering of help bringing food to table to making sure there was always plenty of fresh cold water on the table. again could not do enough for us.

I would say the whole thing is really outdated. We felt like we were back in 2005 or something during our week here.
Do not book a stay here and expect luxury in any way. Stay here if you’re OK with a 3-star - nothing special - experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 1st Maldives experience! The Island is beautiful, the staff are so friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. A special shout to firstly Faridun, a real asset to your team. To our waiter Haeib, and cheeky but lovely barman Agus! Plus the spa and water sports team!
