Ocean Pool Villas are 180sqm with sunset views and direct ocean access, with a private infinity pool. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 3 adults.

Beach Pool Villas are 205sqm with direct beach access facing the lagoon, garden shower, and a private pool. With 1 king-size bed, sleeping maximum 2 adults and 2 children, or 3 adults.

Two-Bedroom Interconnecting Beach Villas, a combination of the Beach Pool Villa and Beach Villa, sleeping maximum 4 adults and 4 children, or 6 adults.

Two-Bedroom Water Villas with Pool are 460sqm overwater villas, perfect for friends or family. These villas boast an enormous sun deck, private infinity pool, direct ocean or lagoon access, and 2 separate bedrooms each with a king-size bed, sleeping maximum 6 adults.

Our stay was nothing short of magical, with the most stunning beaches and amazing staff. Finolhu seamlessly combines luxury, authenticity and perfect hospitality in the Maldives. From the moment we arrived we were captivated by the thoughtfulness in every detail. We stayed in a lagoon villa that offered unparalleled privacy and comfort, featuring 145 square metres of thoughtfully designed space. A welcome bottle of Prosecco, chocolates and fruit platter added a celebratory touch to our arrival. Flawless guest service was a hallmark of our stay. Each guests is assigned a Roohu who ensures every wish is met and provides effortless transportation around the resort in a buggy when required. We were blessed to have Saju as our Roohu she looked after us with such care and attention, thank you so much Saju you are the best. The culinary experiences were equally unforgettable. In every restaurant we visited our taste buds were dancing with delight, every meal was superbly presented, with exemplary service. Thank you to everyone who created the most delicious food. As part of the premium AI package we could also visit the Milk Lab, we often stopped for a Cappuccino or the GM special custard shake. Without doubt the Crab Shack definitely has the wow factor for Finolhu. The setting of the Crab Shack is great and so picturesque, we really enjoyed the dhoni boat journey, the staff often stopped for turtles and dolphins in the lagoon. The food was amazing opting to have lunch here most days. Our favourite food was the Coconut Prawns, Sri Lankan fresh water prawn and catch of the day, we also tried the equally delicious tuna and beef burgers. We were lucky enough to be on the island for two white parties at the Crab Shack, these were great fun, followed by the after party at the Beach Club with DJ Anil dancing the night away until 1am in the morning with fabulous friends we made while on holiday. We chose the premium AI package that allows us to eat at all the restaurants as much as we liked. We loved the that the island served Taittinger Champagne, spirit measures were unbelievably generous all being topped up without asking, every drink was a premium brand. We chose Finolhu to celebrate my milestone birthday and couldn’t have chosen any better. Finolhu really is fun loving and vibrant. From the moment we stepped off the plane at Male we knew we had made the right choice. We were greeted by Guty he checked us in for the seaplane transfer then personally escorted us to a sleek Mercedes MPV which took us to Finolhu’s seaplane lounge. We were welcomed with cold towels and complimentary food and drinks while resort checking was completed, and waiting for the seaplane transfer, setting the tone of the exceptional service we continued to enjoy. Staff - WOW! Every single member of staff we encountered was so friendly and helpful and always took time to chat with us. Special thanks goes to: Guty - at Male arrivals for his warm welcome Saju - our Roohu for her fantastic care and attention Asif - head of the Roohu team, who somehow appeared from nowhere and was fun to be around Solha - our room attendant who meticulously looked after our villa and his fabulous towel art Upul - who never let our glasses go empty and a lovely guy to talk to. The most fantastic resort - beautiful and the best staff in a stunning setting

Just retuned from a 12 night stay at Finolhu. What a wonderful place, stunning location and beaches with the most attentive staff. We were celebrating a special anniversary and stayed in an over water pool villa, which was just lovely. The villa had a super comfortable bed and was furnished perfectly with lots of outdoor furniture. Saw a lot of beautiful fish even from the deck. Restaurants - superb especially Kanusan - Japanese with wonderful Lobster as an option Crab Shack - our favourite for a lazy lunch and open one evening Milk Lab - amazing coffee and shakes. Also sandwiches and fab cakes (gluten free carrot cupcake my favourite) Accommodated my gluten free diet seamlessly - home made GF bread at the breakfast buffet was divine We did the turtle and dolphin trip which was great fun. Did a lot of snorkelling. Spa - excellent and would recommend. We had struggled to pick a resort for this trip and feel we picked well. Finolhu is AMAZING Read less

Incredible Holiday

We booked Finolhu after doing lots of research on the Internet/trip adviser etc and were not disappointed! This place is amazing. All restaurants, especially The Crab Shack 🦀 were incredible, I highly recommend the all inclusive premium package as that allows you to eat at all of the restaurants as much as you like, also you can have all premium brand drinks. My wife was drinking Taittinger every day/ night and the spirit measures were unbelievable, as soon as your glass was low they topped it up without asking. We went to 2 white party's which are help at the Crab shack every Friday night. These were fantastic fun, after the white party finished we all went to the beach club to party until 1pm with a DJ Anal. We had a standard water villa which was beautiful, 3 showers and a big bath. There was lots of wine, spirits, soft drinks, crisps, nuts etc etc and they were replenished every day. On arrival you are allocated your own butler who was always available if you needed anything, he would pick you up in a buggy if you messaged him at any time, his name was Nashwan, a lovely man. We went on the Mantra snorkeling trip which was really good, I would highly recommend it, we had lots of Mantras swimming with us. All of the staff were so nice, friendly, helpful and remembered our names every day we see them. I would like to especially thank the following staff; Nashwan (personal butler) Steve (food & beverages manager) Asif (senior butler) Ashan, Charles, Upal, Ali, Mostafa. I miss Finolhu - A lot!

Stunning island! Stunning staff! Stunning food! I had 5 nights in Finolhu and they were 5 of the best nights I've had! The island is peaceful with lovely villas, large beaches and a very long sand bank to Crab Shack! Make this walk in the morning, rather than later in the day! House reef is long! Swam with shark (grey reef & black tip), turtles rays (Eagle and sting) and also a lovely dolphin cruise where the Spinners were just showing off. But what makes the island really special, is the staff. Just how i like my service. Very attentive, without being overbearing. Always smiling and genuinely happy. Our personal Roohu, Miss Saju, was perfect. Thank you everyone at the island! Read less

A Magical Experience at Finolhu Seaside Baa Atoll Maldives

From start to finish, our journey at Finolhu Baa Atoll was absolutely remarkable! The experience began the moment we were greeted at the jetty by Nayyif, the airport representative, who was incredibly warm and helpful. He assisted us with check-in and then personally escorted us to a sleek Mercedes MPV, which took us to a private lounge. The lounge itself was a beautiful oasis—immaculate, cozy, and bespoke. We were welcomed with cold towels and a delicious breakfast spread, setting the tone for the exceptional service we would continue to experience. Upon arrival at the island, we were warmly greeted by Steven Phillips, the General Manager, who took the time to welcome us personally, making us feel immediately at home. We were then introduced to our ‘Ruhoo’ (butler), who took us on a buggy ride to our villa. From the moment we met him, he made us feel like old friends, walking us through the villa and ensuring we had everything we needed. He even provided us with his WhatsApp number for any questions or requests during our stay—such a personal touch! The water villa was beyond words—absolutely splendid! The cleanliness, the beauty of the villa, and the lagoon beneath us were all exceptional and truly reflective of a five-star luxury property. It felt like paradise, and we found ourselves pinching each other to make sure we weren’t dreaming. Our ‘wow’ moments continued throughout our stay. We dined at every restaurant on the property, and the food and service were consistently outstanding. Our two favorites were the Arabic restaurant and Kanusan, the fine dining Japanese restaurant and one of the best in Asia, where the quality of both food and service far surpassed what we’ve experienced in cities like Kuala Lumpur or Melbourne. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mara and Maria at the Dive Centre, where we signed up for the Manta Rays snorkeling experience. As someone who’s terrified of the ocean, I truly appreciated Mara’s thoughtful approach. She arranged for a personal guide to ensure I felt safe and comfortable in the water. It was an unforgettable experience! The all-day dining at the Kitchen Club offered wonderful themed buffets, and we were lucky enough to witness a stunning fire dance performance, showcasing the incredible talent of professional dancers. A special highlight was the White Party hosted by the resort’s management team. The free flow of wine, cocktails, mocktails, and canapés was generous, and the evening at Crab Shack—overlooking the sunset and cool breeze—was enchanting. We also had the opportunity to learn from a marine biologist, who gave an insightful presentation on the reef and corals, further deepening our appreciation of the island's natural beauty. The night ended on a high with another mesmerizing fire performance. It’s not just the island that makes Finolhu special—it’s the people. From Steven and Steve, to Chef Gayan, Chef Suresh, Chef Beni, Asif, Nashwan, Jin (our second Ruhoo), Mara & Maria from the dive centre, Ali at the Beach kitchen, Dani at the pool bar, Nayyif at the airport, and the water sports team, every single person went above and beyond to make our stay truly special and unforgettable. The team at Finolhu has truly lived up to the promises of the brand and resort, and we are so incredibly grateful for the magical journey they helped create.
