Customer service was great throughout the resort. The food I think was excellent in most of the restaurants. We highly recommend the daily dinner buffet, the Indian restaurant, and the Japanese/Panasian. It does get very crowded, though, during morning breakfast. We went for dinner to the Intercontinental for one night and also to some local restaurants, and to be honest, the food at the Meridien was far better.
Beach and pool furniture is of good quality and plentiful. We never ran out of beach beds. Also, many activities are included in the room price, such as kayaking, water skiing, snorkelling, and many more. We also highly recommend the Mauritian cuisine workshope well worth the fee.
So overall, this was one of the best beach hotels I have stayed in the world.

Food & Drinks - with the all inclusive package, food was plentiful and varied each day in the Nomad restaurant. Cocktails were outstanding whether at the main bar or the pool bars. Jade restaurant was top class and delicious. One slight issue was the Waves restaurant (outdoor seating mainly) there were too many flies around the food, staff did their best to repel them, but it became overwhelming with so many around that we had to rush out.
Kids club - was great, lots of activities and the team looked after my kids, so much so that my 3yo wanted to go everyday!
Pools - 2 mains pools & 1 adults only pool, all brilliant and well staffed. Guys coming around regularly asking for drinks orders and food orders.
Gym - great gym to have a workout, lots of good new equipment.
Service overall was brilliant. This hotel is well above 5* standards and one i shall be returning too! Dont miss this hotel!!!

The pools are fantastic with plenty of shallow areas for kids to safely splash around. The staff were always super friendly and interactive. The kids club is a lovely and large space for the little ones.
The highlight for us was the food and service. We had Kosher food requirements, and the hotel and chef (Chef Mahan was amazing and knowledgable!) were wonderfully accommodating. They ensured that all of our needs were met and were extremely forthcoming in ensuring our needs were met - the food was delicious; if you have dietary/Kosher requirements, we cannot recommend this hotel enough!
Overall - our experience was nothing short of amazing and we hope to visit again soon!
